So now I'm officially caught up on trails and I can safely say I wholeheartedly recommend the series.
That said, if you already played trails then you probably know if you'll like this?
And if you haven't played trails, please dear god don't start with this one, this game acts as an epilogue to a whole duology and a quadrilogy lol
If you're reading this and want to try trails then I very much recommend starting from trails in the sky FC and working your way through. I'll forgive you if you start with Cold Steel 1 instead but don't come crying to me when sky and zero/azure become relevant in cold steel 3.

If you enjoyed the first game, you'll probably enjoy this because it's more of the funny point and click antics from the first game.
If you haven't played the first game you should probably play that first? but also I highly recommend that game to point and click enthusiasts and also enthusiasts of fun.
Waited to finish the game to post my review but I don't really know why because it's not like there was any point during my playthrough where I expected this would be anything but positive.

This game was honestly a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who has 2 bucks and 30 minutes to spare.
(My game time includes 2 playthroughs and a bunch of idle time because I had to go do something in the middle of the latter playthrough)
Best game about pushing buttons in corridors that I've played.

6 games for £30 undiscounted is pretty good, but these are also HALO. Including the good ones.
I hadn't played Halo at all before this came to PC but now I'm in way too deep. Always good to show up late to an acclaimed series and find that yes the games are actually good! Plus I get to play through these games with my friends who know them back to front from playing them years ago.
I'm personally more into the campaigns but the multiplayer is also really solid.
Highly recommend picking up this package. Mayyyyybe just don't do what I'm trying to do in aiming for all the achievements. 2 LASOs in and I'm regretting everything.

Good chill game with a good story.
It might not be immediately obvious from a glance that this takes place in a fantasy world but that becomes very apparent as soon as you actually play it, and it's kinda interesting seeing ideas of how different fantasy races would interact in modern society.

Doesn't quite reach the heights of Steins;Gate in my opinion and there are some questionable design decisions, both technical and story-wise. (no mouse support for the former, and for the latter, for some reason all of the endings are canon and are basically just chapters of the story that you can do in the wrong order? I recommend a guide to make sure you see stuff in the right order)
Regardless of these issues, it's still a fantastic story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was told I had to play Chaos;Head before this and it would probably be for the best if you did so, but I didn't really like Chaos;Head so I was worried I wouldn't like this. Fortunately, my fears were unfounded and this game does feel more akin to Steins;Gate than it does to C;H. (Although like I say, some things might not make sense if you haven't played C;H)
This has gotten more long-winded than I meant, but if you are a fan of visual novels and have played the first two Science Adventure games, then I highly recommend this. If you've just played Steins;Gate, I also recommend it. If you HAVEN'T played Steins;Gate then why are you not playing Steins;Gate?

Short as hell but it's fun and has cute demon girls.
I beat it twice in an hour but it's free so it's not like you have any reason to care about getting your money's worth.

Not even reached the credits but this is my game of the year.
Really good stuff ngl. I've been really interested in supergiant games before but struggled to get into them, but this one is just fantastic. I always find roguelikes intimidating but even if you die in hades, the game gives you more story anyway which makes it sting a bit less when you fail. I do still get pretty salty about dying in dumb ways tho lol
Honestly the level of polish that has gone into this game is insane, and I highly recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest.

If you liked monster prom at all then you'll like this.

If you haven't played monster prom, I do kinda recommend playing that first but it's not 100% necessary.
idk the game has funny writing and it's a good laugh with friends. idk if I recommend it solo tho.
