I would recommend this game as a 'free to play' experience. Keep in mind, that in order to unlock the majority of the cards, as a player, you will have to achieve a collector level of about 4700, which will take 3-5 months. It took me about 3 1/2 months to collect most of the cards, and I am still missing about 10 cards.
