Early Access Review
I played and loved the demo for this so much and was keen for the full release but this ain't it.
I've encountered so many bugs and glitches in my first three playthroughs. Including one where I lost, but I could keep playing because the lose screen was suddenly knocked aside by the screen of a Kadomon evolving. The evolution scenes seem to skip themselves now and then.

The level of content for this release compared to the demo is barely anything more. A few levels of the same things over and over.

I really wanted to love it but I'm just disappointed.

Bought the game thinking it was just going to be a chill shop management game and came away genuinely impressed by a surprisingly fun story - if a bit anime-tropey. Love the writing, love the characters, Am sad every time I disappoint Piccolo for whatever reason. I love the different sets and the obvious difference in art styles. I'd love to see more added over time.

However, it could do with some quality of life changes. It could do with slowing down a touch with the new things introduced every other day at the start. A pause button for the day would be appreciated - I don't mean the menu just the customers to stop for a moment while I look at what's going on.

I'm not far through it but am looking forward to the rest.

---- Edit ----

After I booted it back up again I am afraid to say it fell flat shortly after the twoish hours. The story just kind of ends and it gets repetitive, some of the NPCs just stop showing up. It felt like we were building up to unlock the next part of the story, the end of a prologue, and then not much happened.

It was good. I'd love to see the story continue, with some more card sets to collect, but all the charm fell off after the first couple of hours and I just found myself waiting for booster packs to be available again.

Two other quality of life improvements that it could do with;

If I right click a card when in the binder, could it go into the binder rather than being put for sale.
Challenges show up often with the same item I'd got previously. It'd be great to avoid duplicates showing up.

I bought this game because my friends and I have played Phasmaphoba to death and we fancied a change. We've finished it so far and man it was a rollercoaster. We're not great with horror games, but we push ourselves into it like in some kind of masochism.

We were frightened. We had moments of trying to hide and whimper. It was good fun and we finished it with a sense of relief that it was over and we were finally safe after three hours.

It was good. It's not perfect, the monsters attacking can surprise you too fast and just get you, and trying to hide doesn't work too well, but all in all it's a solid experience. Would play again when it updates, will regret doing so, will still love it.

I've played though the demo for about an hour and a bit and I am hooked.
The only reason I stopped playing when I did was because I want to leave the rest for when the full game comes out.

**Spoilers**
This is a good little experience in the same way a haunted house at a fair is. It's a quick thrill but really you come to realise that nothing can actually hurt you and you're going through the motions.

This is PT but condensed down and in space.

The ending was incredibly unsatisfying for such a great premise. If it had some conclusion to be worth the half hour it takes, then it'd be great, but at the moment it's just a few jump scares in a space corridor.

Played with my girlfriend after watching Soviet Womble play, had a lot of fun and look forward to playing the others.
