Amazing game, yet to finish but so far it has taken what made the first game awesome and is running with it. I am very much enjoying exploring the realms and fighting challenging bosses all while upgrading new gear!

If you played any of the original saga and are looking for a similar experience this is not your game. 100%ing this beast is a very time consuming, labour intensive experience that loses it's charm about 40 hours in (took over 100 hours to hundo). Do not recommend as the "levels" can honestly be completed in 1-2m in most cases and the rest is just hub world collectables on different planets taking an absurd amount of time. The same few characters also just end up getting used for pretty much everything though I suppose that's fairly normal for lego games but still annoying, it disincentives you to use any of the extra characters because they have no abilities so you have to change out of them almost immediately anyway because you can't really do much without them. Honestly of all the Lego games I've played (and I've played most of them) this one is by far the worst (which is saying something considering Lego Star Wars The force Awakens exists).

Fun game, a couple of annoying achievements like the golden bloon one or the win a race in under a certain amount of time but otherwise a great game to relax and play.

Had one bug that I managed to fix using wemod debug mode but otherwise a very solid game and a phenomenal experience and story, honestly loved it!

I think this game was too short but otherwise the gameplay mechanics are fun and implemented reasonably well. Where I criticise this game however is in the timing. For the subtitles the timing is completely off for the voiceover and it kind of sounded a little bland to me (but that's just me). Additionally there was no time at all between when you used your water power and the animation of where to direct the plant leading to confusing situations where I was confused why the plant just sprouted and I initially didn't realise I could even control the flow of the sprout, I thought it was set in stone as if you are used to constantly looking around at things it's not inherently obvious that where you look is where the sprout goes. Being able to control this in another way or setting it up slightly differently so as to make me feel more in control when changing the direction of the plant would have been great. Achievements were great and I loved the placements of all the alters, they felt fair and fun to find and if you missed one they showed where it was on the main track if you looked for it. Overall I would give it a 5/10 as some parts felt a bit off and stuttery as well with scene transitions and not being able to pause during dialogue felt a bit annoying. Great for a free game to smash out and get another quick 100% with some interesting and fun mechanics though.

I understand the reasons for the slow walking pace, to give the player time to think etc. However, I feel like the same effect could be achieved with slightly longer tracks and a faster walking speed. I felt angry, frustrated, annoyed and bored simply due to the insanely slow walking speed. Loved the directors commentary and that made me appreciate and understand the game better and is a great addition however that walking speed really killed any enjoyment I would have otherwise experience from the story, atmosphere etc. which I can tell has had a lot of work go into it but was VASTLY overshadowed by the fact it takes me so long to walk anywhere, the walking speed also severely impacts any desire I had to double back, look at things I had missed when I noticed i'd missed them or go anywhere but the main path in general because I knew i'd have to walk all the way back again. Making the decision to walk to a dead end to look at something interesting is something I have taken for granted in most games and really notice how much this game makes this experience into a punishment for the player forcing them to snailspace crawl back the way they have come.

TLDR
The game could have been amazing but the walking speed ruins everything it has to offer.

Decent game, quite fun. Hard to play against friends and enjoy it unless you are of similar levels and upgrades but otherwise pretty awesome. As for achievements all are pretty doable and if needed you can cheese a few with matching with a friend of a similar level as you.

Great game, the hardcore achievement still has me stumped but the rest are definitely doable... If you have trouble the hardcore achievement essentially asks you to complete every level of the game in one sitting without dying which is incredibly time consuming and difficult.

Amazing game, cute story and fun puzzles. Well worth the play and a nice game to relax to as the voiceover is quite soothing.

Was a fun little game, achievements were a little tedious but otherwise good. Story was kinda hard to follow though tbh.
