Baldur's Gate 3 is as close to perfection as it gets. The game is filled to the brim with content, the replay value is superb, its Art Direction is gorgeous, and it is good looking. The replay value is second to none, I'm also playing it on PS5 with friends, and this playtrough is so different... If you like CRPGs, you will love it. If you love D&D, you will love it.
My only complain is the lack of crossplay (maybe later heh).

First thing I'd like to point out is I see a lot of people complaining about performance issue, I'm having none of it, and I have a somewhat midrange computer. I guess it has to do with the settings. The sprites are still aliased (except maybe for RWBY because the sprites were done recently) which might be a problem to some.

- n.b. 1: It is the same type of aliasing as in BB Central Fiction.

Let's talk about the game itself:

I enjoyed the part of the story mode I did (BlazBlue), it was funny, with teams being mixed from all the franchise. I'd recommend doing it once for each franchise, just for the sake of it.

The music is IMO good, if you played any BB game before, you will be in known territory. The style might not suit everyone though. The Japanese voices are the same as usual, so good.

- n.b.2: Turn the voices in Japanese if you play Ruby, her English voice can get you mad when you hear her scream all the time...

Despite the sprites being somewhat low-res, the animation is good, as always with Arc Sys. The HUD is clear, and I found it more readable than in BlazBlue Central Fiction. The menu system is like what you find in DBFZ (thank you Arc Sys), and you can access a more "traditional" menu by pressing a button if you are reluctant to moving your avatar around, which comes in handy if you want to navigate quickly. The options in training mode are pretty much all here.

From what I tested, the online plays out smoothly most of the time. Sometimes the intro is laggy, and then it stabilizes and run as a charm. You can rematch your opponent, and can chat in lobby, so it's all here.

The game is "fast paced", but in the good way. Fights are quick, but nervous, and it won’t drain your mental health. You can chain matches easily.
The smart combo system is pretty good as well, and despite playing a bit of fighting games before, I was surprised to see that the damages was relatively high considering anyone with a finger can execute them. Obviously, you can find better combos, and this is rewarding, but new players can enjoy it as well. There is a limited number of special moves, and overall you can play anyone by learning a single character. Despite all this, each character feels different (to some extent). If you are looking for a game to enter fighting games with, this one might be good. The tag system is interesting, and enjoyable, you'll need to master it if you want to improve, but it's intuitive.

To conclude, I would say those things:
  • - This game is for you if you enjoy anime fighting games in general (you don't need to be a BlazBlue maniac to enjoy the game) and are looking for a game that feels rewarding and pleasant to play. The gameplay is smooth and even when you lose, you're not salty.
  • - This game might be for you if you want an introduction to Tag fighting games (and fighting games in general) and somewhat like anime.

The most important is: it feels rewarding, the roster is fine, it has low execution barrier, (i.e. Anyone will enjoy playing), the OST is really good IF it matches your taste. It's a dynamic game, and it's deep enough that you can improve yourself quite a lot.
On the side note, you might want to wait for a patch if you're afraid of performance issue. Also, it's not a graphical masterpiece, it's "pleasant". Other than that, I'd recommend it.

First of all, I must say that I am a paper magic player, I also played Magic Online, and some of the other games (duels of the planswalker)

Saying that, This is how I see things. It is a good computer game. It is not a total replacement of paper magic, it's not as fast, or smooth. BUT, it is in my opinion way better than previous realeases.
You can build your decks, pretty much as you wan. The quests and the solo mode provides source of in game currency, so if you play, you wont have to pay... And this is where this is going well. Playing MTGO is really, really, exepensive for a computer game. Magic Duels is not...

It was kinda laggy before, but now it's going ok, Servers are fixed I guess.

Give it a go, it's free, you can hear the story of five planswalker, while playing a game that is fun...
If you want to play some magic, but don't want to pay for MTGO, while you already have your cards IRL, it's probably what you're looking for.

First thing I thought when I saw this was "it looks great", then I thought it couldn't be so good, and the controls would be a pain in the arse.

Oh was I wrong...

In game, everything looks pretty, but is also clear, it doesn't feel too blurry or too detailed, it's colorful, the different enironments are really good, I didn't feel bored at all.
Then there is the playability, and it is very easy to handle, at least to do basic things, but then mastering the teleport etc takes some time. It's rather good i'd say.

I try hard on every level of this game, I like how it's done, I want to see more, be better, go faster etc...

There is a lot of things to do, Daily sprint, story mode (which is rather long for an arcade game, especially if you like to get perfect score on every level...), dual core levels, a good game in the end.

But, it costs a lot.

I would recomend this, really, if you don't care about the money too much, try it out. BUT, if you think the kind of games where doing "try and die" to get the highest score isn't your cup of tea... Meh.

Anyway good experience !

Have been playing only a bit, it's ok.

No seriously, I played Cookie Clicker a few months ago, and the principle is pretty much the same : farming. But it's more deep :

- Bosses !
- Active Skills
- Ascensions
- hero soul

So basically, it's free, very light, keep farming even if AFK, even if you quit the game if it is synced to Cloud... Easy way to not be bored.
