Wow, what a roller coaster of emotions. The game looked interesting, but I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as I had hoped, I had somewhat lowered my expectations, however, it went above and beyond. From my experience, the game was bug-free, with droplets of intriguing mysteries throughout to keep me engaged until the very end. The game got me tearing up, some parts of the game are pretty relatable to me, which explains why it felt close to home. It's an underrated masterpiece for sure.

UNREAL LIFE is a psychological horror game where you play as Hal, a young girl lost in a strange dreamy world, with amnesia—a faint memory of your teacher Ms. Sakura sets you off on your journey to regain your memories and uncover the dark truth. The game contains nifty puzzles that build upon what you learn from previous puzzles. The soundtrack features soft melancholic music similar to some tracks from the NieR series that fit the theme and story perfectly. The game contains a charming lovable cast of characters you meet along your adventure. Your companion 195; the traffic light, will help guide and humour you along the journey.

One thing I will point out is; that I was not expecting multiple endings, the first ending I got was super abrupt. Which made me realize there was more. According to the Steam achievement, it doesn't seem like many people have fully completed the game to the true ending and that's why you may see some reviews saying the ending added nothing and explained nothing about the story. If you get one of the abrupt endings, reload the previous playable save and continue. Try to figure out how to continue the story. It's almost like a mini puzzle to reach the true ending.

Post-completion achievements (Expanded lore):
These three achievements change how you view the game. These achievements expand on the story a bit more. The achievements are not intuitive to obtain. I would look for a guide to follow. A problem with these achievements is that you need the Singularity achievement completed as a prerequisite to acquire the rest, obtaining the Singularity achievement is purely random and all down to luck. You will eventually get it, it just takes some time and patience. I recommend manually saving after getting the achievement and remember you only have ONE manual save, manual saving overwrites the existing save file. I recommend looking up a video about it if achievement hunting isn't your thing.
