The Black Grimoire Cursebreaker...

Now, this game is great. Is perfectly captures the feel and likeness of Runescape, making a fun nostalgic experience.

The problem what makes Runescape good is the quests and multiplayer...

Multiplayer: Multiplayer doesn't exist, atleast not in the form of trading and playing together... This is fine but it still lacks the community to really have much of an impact at all so the game feels hollow at times except your occasional lagging out player running by and I feel like a PVP arena would been great regardless even if there is no playing together or trading, PVP was still a big part of Runescape itself. It could been done better or rather not done at all. This is a personal pet peeve, I know u can turn off multiplayer, so I am not docking points, it's just a personal pet peeve as mentioned.

Questing: Questing is abysmal. It truly is the peak "Fetch quest" experience, now running around and fetching stuff isn't always bad... A player must go to another location sometimes, but running back and forth between A and B feels like a waste of time. But there is plenty of good quests which are well designed and fun but that brings me to my other major complaint

Grinding: The grinding... Is bad. Right, I get the entire Runescape feel of spending 50 hours chopping trees for a level up, and that's what Runescape is... However the bell curve is done horrible. Combat is easily gotten to 25 with some grinding but any resource gathering to even get to level 10 will atleast take you about 10 hours as you can only mine on type of resource that takes a while to spawn and it gives you so little EXP that it feels worthless. Early game should have you blasting through levels till you eventually reach the 25-30 gate... Then it should start getting kinda tedious and I would have been KINDA oke with it, if they didn't lock quests behind skill levels which is the biggest reason for a negative review. In no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ universe should you put a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 25 woodcutting requirement to kill a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crab. Its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, WHY. I get it right. If it was like a "Make a wheel for a cart quest" that u lock behind woodcutting and crafting as it makes human sense, but why a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fighting dependend quest. It's so stupid I am GLAD cheating in items is an option because I would have refunded at that point if I couldnt do that. You should never lock a skill requirement in a quest that has nothing to do with the quest, the entire tree feels like a "I lack the creativity to give a proper reason, here is a lvl 25 tree, enjoy" It's abysmal. You could have done a "We want to catch the crab, please make a cage for it, u need special tree of lvl 10 and crafting 10 to make this cage" if you really wanted to shoe horn some crafting and gathering level in. But honestly none at all would been prefered

And then... You have skills: Now skills are a neat addition... And pretty cool, however it feels like melee was an afterthought as there is barely any skills for the class as there much more fun and creativity in archery and mage and I wouldnt be THAT upset about it IF YOU DIDNT LOCK IT BEHIND A "Have lvl 25 in all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ perks" quest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude. I been wanting to just upgrade my defense and attack, but no. I had to do an entire sidequest. And honestly, valid, fun, have a quest before I can acces the new trees. Makes sense... BUT WHY REQUIRE ME TO HAVE 25 IN ALL SKILLS. If wanna skill I will do those things in my own time, when I feel like "Hey I wanna spend my day grinding this, I can do that" but for pure progression to not get my ass handed to me, I am suddenly forced to have 25 levels across all skills which is terrible to grind as formerly mentioned. Just for me to have those 2 skills I need to do all that. Why not lock the trainers themself behind the level, not that it matters as you cannot level up the skill anyways till you reach a certain level.
Do quest > college opens > Sorry u need lvl 25 in my skill to obtain this training. That would have made 100% more sense, just replace the current quest with some dumb fetchquest or something, have the current quest as a "congrats for getting 25 in everything quest" and have a special reward for that. But doing it this was not thought out well at all and punishes the player for not grinding everything. Why even have the option to specialize at things at the start of the game to roleplay, if my character is suppose to know and do everything anyways.

Again, I am well aware that it's suppose to be Runescape in your vision and that grinding is a part of it.
but 1: Fix the leveling bell curve, maybe take some inspiration on Kenshi's bell curve.
And 2: Remove the stupid level requirement for things that make 0 sense.

Then I could reccomend the game because it's amazing otherwise, but I cannot reccomend the game in this state.

Also I apoligse for ranting and going off but nonsensical garbage tilts me dude.

EDIT: Fixed my abysmal english, clearly I need to grind that for another 50 hours too!!!!

Right just finished the game and.... WOW. First off, if you like these type of games, just buy it. Don't look at the rest of my review or other reviews, this game is perfect for seasoned turn based tactic enjoyers and people who never played this type of game.

This game is a 9.5/10 and once they add the promised mod support I will change this review to a 10/10

Now as for the actual review

"Our adventuring Guild" is an Turn-based tactical RPG. Now if you're familiar with Fire Emblem, imagine that.
Now this game takes most of it's charm from the artstyle and writing, more often then not the writing got me chuckling, tearing up or outright lauging my ass off. As for the art, yeah it's not the prettiest but after an hour of playing you realize it's actually not really bad at all and it does the game justice quite well.

The gameplay itself is like going to a subway "You make the sandwich" meaning that as you start the game you got full control of how hard you want the game to be or want any restrictions, so this game can be a absolute cakewalk or actually the most frustrating hell you been through in your entire life. And honestly. That's great. It means both hardcore players and casual players can enjoy the game how they like. There is plenty of customization characters skills and builds while still being restricted enough to not be broken and have all classes be pretty balanced. Every class is real good depending on your loadout and build (But it might take till you get legendary items for those classes to start shining through though)

The other part of the charm comes from the full character customization (You need to turn this on in the settings before you start the game) allowing you to self insert your OC's (With the limited resources you have) change their icon andf give them their own personality and traits, causing you to feel a lot more engaged with the fights or emotional if you got perma death on.

Any negatives? Honestly... I can't really think of one, well I guess despite taking 50 hours to complete the game, it still felt rather short and lackluster. It's completely worth the price and don't get me wrong! 50 hours for the low price of 15 dollar is a steal. But I did wish there was more customization, more items and weapons and some after main story content. A paid DLC or the much needed mod support will undoubtedly fix that gripe though. But this is a MINOR gripe.

Absolutely amazing work on this GreenGuy and I hope you continue polishing this game and perhaps make a DLC and if not, know that u cooked hard on this and that u should be proud.

Redfiery is a 23 year old man addicted to a cute farming game. Presenting to the Steam review page.

"This is just a Stardew valley clone" he thought as he would try out the game "It's probably just a cashgrab clone" he said to himself

As he kept playing and playing till suddenly noticed he was close to the 2 hour mark as he wanted to refund it and save his wallet, but... He was having fun. The game had a lot of similarities, hell even some downright copied stuff from Stardew valley... But they did it so much better. The gameplay was smoother. The game was less tedious, the game was way more catered to his playstyle.

"Just 10 more min left" He muttered out, as he continued mining and exploring the well crafted areas.

Suddenly Redfiery clicked tab + ctrl and noticed he had been playing for 5 hours. "♥♥♥♥, well,,, too late now" Redfiery said to himself as he kept playing, his friends got worried and asked him if the game was fun as Redfiery would cope by saying "It's just a unfinished Stardew valley It's not super polished, it has some glaring issues. But so far I kinda like it more than Stardew If they polish it and add more ♥♥♥♥... It could actually be better" he typed out on Discord.

10 more hours passed and Redfiery was overwhelmed by the amount of polish and content the game had to actually offer before succumbing to the Steam review page where we are now to make a review stating that he truly reccomends this game and that's its worth it in the current state the game is in now.

His wallet was able to not make a recovery.

As many others stated in the negative reviews tab, this game is way too easy. Even on hardest difficulty. I'm a man that played pretty much every rogue-like and I am not gonna say I am a pro at them, hell i'd say i'd even suck at most despite loving the genre... But this game feels so casual I don't feel any satisfaction from playing it. The charm is through the roof, the game is beautiful and breathtaking, the visuals are adorable and the music is well crafted and the colony management aspect of the game is pretty well done... But the actual game is just... Not for me... I'd like more a challenge and this game isn't gonna give this to me. it's a massive shame. It was the first game in years I was really damn hyped for.

If you looking for an visually pleasing and adorable colony manager game that's actually really well made. Play it, buy it. It's worth it.
If you're like me and an avid rogue-like enjoyer that's looking for a true rogue-like experience that enjoys some challenge then skip this one.

EDIT:
Made the ending statement a bit more positive

Too easy, first tried on every run on 4 character's
Ofcourse I am lying, I first tried on every character except black knight, I did that on my second try.

Memes aside, games is good. But playability is only about an hour before it get's boring. I don't reccomend it, maybe fun for a mobile game though.

God... I really hate to throw in the "Its Undertale but..." but given this game even throws in a couple Undertale references I feel like its oke...

Now this game, I can't really give a giant review... But what I can say is that this game is definitely THE Undertale of 2021. This game is such a magical and amazing experience, not is EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. an absolute banger that goes with the amazing gameplay it's also just such a visually pleasing game.

Don't read any review's, don't look up anything. Go in fully blind. I promise you. This game is truly an expierence and fully worth it.

Death Trash...

Have u ever played Hyper Light Drifter and wished it was more of an RPG than an Adventure, have u ever played fallout but wished it was more fact paced, have u ever been wanting a game to has both but also is a lot more gore(y)?

Well this game is exactly what u looking for. Now SADLY I can't really reccomend buying it in this current stage, because honestly it's a waste of time. Now hear me out.

This game states its now released but its still in VERY VERY early acces, it has a lot more content than 2 months ago but even then this game is shy a little above 6 hours to get to the end. That and well it makes u want more but tough luck u gotta wait several months again. Now of course 6 hours for its current state and honestly such a amazingly well made game is an amazing deal! The problem lies is that your save gets deleted once they update the game again. Having you to do everything again, now if this is fine to you then sure. But its a tad annoying in my opinion.

Regardless. I still fully reccomend this game, literally one of the better games this year and can't wait to see them fully "flesh" out this game. But I don't reccomend buying it right now.
