Finished Shadow campaign 100% :nerd: very good game! No bugs far as I found, overall polished and good quality addition - soundtrack is also very good, besides the hogwash cyberspace tracks from frontiers

no unlockable gun :(

Horror story of a wonderful game - one of the best roguelites - sold off to a bigger company and ruined.

Gearbox purchased the Risk of Rain IP and immediately made a gacha game, setting expectations low for the upcoming DLC. We've come to find these expectations are very deserved - the DLC itself is alright, though lacking somewhat in overall content - the patch alongside the DLC bought a whole host of bugs bordering on meaningless, to annoying, to gamebreaking - worse for console players who have save data completely corrupted.

Hard to say this was expected with the mentioned gacha game, as well as Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford being and actual p*do caught with a USB of child prawn.

It's understandable that Hopoo wanted to sell the IP to finance their own future projects, but it's still disappointing.

If you like Risk of Rain 2, this is more content - you'll have the bugs regardless. There are patches for some of the bugs - such as the FPS based ones - on Thunderstore mod manager, however modding as a whole has also been damaged by Gearbox thanks to them destroying the mod framework.

Chris Christodoulou and the other composers are really the only stars of this DLC - and their work can be found on Youtube and Spotify. Arguably their work is the only polished, unrushed part of this DLC.

Hopefully Gearbox fixes the bugs - or maybe Mr Pitchford has enough money already to fill his next USB.

I love the game and the DLC in concept, but it feels very lackluster in quality compared to previous entries.

I feel this is largely in part to Gearbox taking over - hopes already lowered with them creating a ROR gacha game as well as their CEO being a ped.

The DLC / update alongside it is full of a lot of strange bugs ranging from clipping, game freezing or crashing, players not appearing for one another and visual bugs, for example loader (having an audio bug fixed that game from console last patch - yippee) now has their attacks and visuals not line up correctly. It ranges from these more minor and major things that *hopefully* will be patched out, but is just disappointing given the standard set previously.

I don't have high hopes though, as since the Gearbox takeover many things have seem rushed - going back to the prior patch introducing Verdant Falls, this felt like it was put out just to tie people over for the DLC, an odd choice as saving this may have helped the DLC feel bulkier.

Regardless of bugs, the actual DLC content is very mixed - no complaints on the OST front, Chris carries as usual - some of the stages are great, suprisingly large, although others seem noticably smaller. This could be very intentional, but just seems strange to me.

The new items - the few they are - range from abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to borderline broken. For example;
Here's a red item: gold at the start of a stage (around 700ish from my experience), ok cool idk about a red.
Here's an equipment: free extra life or a revive for your teammate. ????

idk! some of the choices are just strange to me :3
anyway! overall idk 6.5/10, Chris is the goat, Gearbox sucks, Randy Pitchford is a creep, i miss enforcer and i think the Chef mod on thunderstore is better !

Sorry for any grammar errors - english is my first language
maybe buy if they patch the game a lil teehee
