I felt inexplicably compelled to get out of bed and go into the forest while staying at a friend's cabin. I wandered for a while until I came upon a stream. There was a break in the tree cover and I could see the night sky with a clarity and intensity you don't ever see in the city due to light pollution
I then felt nauseous, but not weak. Instead intensely invigorated. A feeling of exponential increase, relentless outward spiraling of energy, like the chain reaction of a nuclear bomb going off.
Then I saw, all at once, the face of God. By which I mean what it is and how we relate to it. Not in vague terms but with perfect clarity, every little moving part labeled for my edification.
