Just... stick with the original trilogy of the Sims, this game is a huge downgrade from it's predecessors and somehow looks worse than The Sims 3.

Early Access Review
It's good if you can find stuff to do on it, (and have a character model of your choosing)

Highly recommend using a VRHeadset as it's not the same experience on PC

While San Andreas in itself is a good game, I cannot recommend the Steam version of the game due to the update they released over a year or so ago now.

Reasons being:

- Game is alot more unstable, crashes more than GTA IV.

- Mouse will randomly not work for no reason i.e. not being able to move the camera being a crucial thing in the game. Along with that I can't use weapons when the mouse doesn't work and the default keybinds in this version are horrendous.

- Lack of 16 by 9 resolutions, though I seem to have 1280x720 and 1600x900 resolutions.

- No intro video, not a game breaking thing but why remove it from the newer version I have no idea.

- Some music removed from the game. This is unstandable due to licensing issues, again nothing game breaking, although it is for me as sometimes entering cars will make the game crash

Before the update the game ran perfectly fine, if you really want to get this game, try and pick up a retail copy second hand somewhere, that way, it is "optional" to have updates on the game. Thank Steam for removing the option to not update games. Did I forget to mention this is a mobile port?

I don't really like giving bad reviews but sadly this game is getting one. It's not exactly a hard game, but is extremely repeatative after about the first 25 minutes of gameplay. Not only that you will have the music making you want to go insane after a while due to it repeating the same music, over and over again when your trying to finish the stage. The screen effects also was quite annoying as I really struggled playing on the one hour mark due to the flashing and stuff. No I don't have epilepsy. There's also no learning curve to it as the AI seems to be fixed, so it's a matter of timing your attacks in the right place at the right time. Only thing it's really worth getting for is the Steam trading cards I guess...

Want a game that's stupidly optimised? Thinks your monitor can display 1440p when it only supports 1680x1050? A game that looks like it's from 2005? Then this game is for you.

However, from the time I've played this game, I not only found myself walking around the room you start off in for 20 minutes, I also found myself laughing alot at how you can shoot the ground and kill yourself. Not only that, Garry was not in any of the FMVs. Also the poor animation, low quality models / textures and funny voices in this game make what's great about it. Also spam clicking a button to make a ding noise. Long story short, it's a bad game but it's so bad it's worth getting for the laughs.
