Physically,Mentally,Emotionally,and Psychologically broken....10/10 would recommend

This is my first time writing a review, pls don't bash.

I just finished the story and let me just say that this is one of the best games I have ever played so far.

For those of you who want to know the story(in a nutshell):
You are playing as Jason Brody and you and your friends went on a vacation into an island. Next thing you know, you and your friends are now captured by some pirates who inhabit this island. You barely escape the camp and a guy named Dennis saves you and brings you to his place and this is where your story begins. You must now find and rescue your friends at the same time discover the warrior in you as Jason Brody evolves from some college kid into a badass warrior.

The graphics in this game are AMAZING, the island looks gorgeous and full of life. The environment is well detailed and everything just looks like paradise.

As for the gameplay, there are a LOAD of things to do in this game. You'll be finding yourself hunting and skinning animals to upgrade various things like your weapon holsters, bags, wallets and more, going up radio signals and deactivate the breakers to reveal a part of the island, which is a must if you want to get free weapons, liberating camps which have been taken over by pirates to unlock it for fast travel, looking for relics, WW2 letters and other collectibles and completing various quests to prove to the inhabitants that you are a true warrior. There is also an RPG element to the game wherein you get these tattoos called "tatau" everytime you level up and they are unlocked to gain new perks or abilities.

The story is good and the environment really reels you in to get the feel that you're actually there and you get to socialize or interact with the people.

However it also has its downs, one of which is that the environment isn't really that destrcutable. Say for example you set fire to a wooden house, no matter how much you burn it, it will not get destroyed. There are also some abilities which are not that really necessary or you get to use them rarely like shooting from a zipline or taking out enemies from a high place or from underneath. The boss battles are also cut down into quicktime events which isn't much of a problem to me but it might be for others. But these are just minor flaws and they do not hinder you from enjoying the game that much.

Overall, it's a fun game and one of the best there is so pick it up and play it sometime, you won't regret it.

My final verdict for this game is a 8.5/10
