the game makes you play in very lucrative ways to actually deal with the enemies before you seemingly giving the player less of a choice in actual combat. the game only has 5 guns, a stasis mixed with kinesis glove thats really amazingly optimal once fully upgraded taking you almost your entire playthrough to upgrade. and a melee weapon with only 2/3 useful skill trees. the skunk gun undeniably can carry you through the game alone

terrible optimization, devs prefer eye candy than performance. enjoy the fps drops after setting the game to the lowest graphics

There definitely is a learning curve so I strongly recommend communicating with your teammates to work together as this game is not to be played with a solo mind set. It is truly wonderful to play when you do get into a match. My suggestion would be to advertise the game as the player count only seems to keep droping at least on steamDB's charts.

the game is considerably longer than the first game but it is mostly cutscenes. cutscene after cutscene. it is WAY scarier than the first game and I might argue 2-3x harder than the first game considering that enemies can literally breath down your ass crack as you're running away from them. on that topic you dont peek left and right with q and e whilst running, you instead press alt now which I am convinced only exists to give you more anxiety mid chase. alot of the jumps and balancing boards are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and youll die. Nic and Laird section is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and has autoaim nomatter how many arrows you bait out/ hide behind structures, Sometimes the game hasnt detected when im holding shift so Ill just die holding shift but not be running. overall i could beat this game 10 times back to back and still be horrified which is the ONE thing this game has over the first outlast. which i managed to beat the first outlast completely in less than a day practically. this game requires 1/7th of your soul in order to get messiah. i managed to die at the end of the game TWICE due to petty game rng. fell under the map 6 times. got shot by nic and laird 6 times hiding behind structures before getting buried alive.

overall its not a terrible game for the story and the scares its given me. but from a gameplay perspective I hate this game and after getting messiah I never want to launch this game that looks for new ways to cuck you out of your run. gl to all looking to 100%
