I'm writing this review solely to say ♥♥♥♥ Nintendo, I hope they lose the lawsuit for the sake of the gaming industry.

Oh also this game's very fun 10/10.

Adorable cast, great atmosphere, and the sounds and music are amazing!

The controls feel a little clunky, but I think with a bit of work they could be better. The game is otherwise really good and I'm very eager to see where it goes in the future!

Also let me hug Finley, I love him. :(

6 months and 700 hours after my original review, I'm still addicted to this game.

I've always loved farm games, but none have gotten me as fixated as this one! The game has an adorable art style and amazing graphics and it's very fun and relaxing to play! Really got me back into my dinosaur nerd era too lmao.

Would love to see aquatic or aerial dinos added if they could make it work! As well as more colours/patterns. The game is so incredibly cute and I'm so glad I've gotten the chance to play it after following development for about a year. <3

If Monster Hunter has always interested you but the mainline games aren't your thing and you like turn based RPGs, well here's a great game for you! The game has amazing graphics and a very interesting rock paper scissors mechanic as well as different abilities, weapons and multiple types of weaknesses for you to strategize around!

The story is also amazing! Characters are great and diverse, and all have their interesting and fun little quirks and personalities about them. It's quite a story to get attached to. The Kinship skill animations are also really good! I love that some are just sick as hell and then there's ones that are super goofy and unserious. It really shows off the silliness of the game.

There unfortunately isn't much post-game content and the multiplayer isn't the GREATEST but it's definitely a great game for what they were in their ability to do at the time.

Absolutely recommend for any turn based RPG fans out there! Got my hopes up for an MHS3!

Me and a friend were the only two in the ship while we watched the other two in the building from the monitor, and suddenly we heard growling and immediately closed the door.

Unfortunately for us, it came into the ship right as the door opened and I had to watch my friend get murdered and dragged away and that might have been the most horrifying experience yet for me in this game.

10/10 game, would absolutely watch my friend get vored by a mutated dog again.

Been playing this game since around 2017. Originally played it on Xbox 360 then Xbox One for the expansion.

It's a great game with a nice immersive story and world. If you're into all sorts of fantastical things, then this is definitely the sort of game for you! The game has great character and creature designs, interesting takes on existing fantasies, and while the combat can be finicky sometimes, I quite like the skills and vocations!

Dark Arisen, while much harder than the base game, is a great expansion too. In my opinion the main game lacked a little bit in content and Dark Arisen made up quite well for that along with the extra story that comes with it.

Definitely a great game for all sorts of fantasy and RPG enthusiasts. Can't wait for the second one to come out!

I've only been playing since mid-way through season 2 and while I am writing this review as recommended, I do have a fair bit of negative things to say about it.

This game can be REALLY fun. Especially with friends. I've been enjoying it since I got back into it after not being too huge on it back in OW1.
But don't get me wrong, I think a lot of things in OW1 were handled far better than they are right now.

This game was made F2P and originally for PVE story, the initial plans of such however got scrapped and now we have to pay for what is currently 3 story missions at the price of $15.
While I understand they have to make money somehow, this was incredibly scummy on their end. OW1 got content starved for years just for OW2 to come out, they shut down OW1 servers in place of OW2's release, and then later announced original PVE plans and skill tree to be cancelled.

Then of course there's other monetisation problems. I personally don't find the prices of skins and such AWFUL but since OW2 skins have gotten more expensive and now are forcefully included in bundles in your shop. This feels like very bad marketing, even if they are trying to prompt people to buy bundles more.

I am not at all a huge competitive player so the balance to me doesn't mean much but there are balance issues I've noticed a lot and there tends to be PLENTY of bugs. While it's nice that they frequently tend to these things, it feels like a lot of the time they don't know what should and shouldn't be changed.

I am not at all faulting the devs, art team, etc. for this. They put a lot of time and effort into this game. The community brings a lot of toxicity towards Blizzard as an overall company, but it's mostly the higher uppers and management that are the issue. They keep making horrible executive choices for this game, and Blizzard's already horrible reputation does not make any of this help them look better.

So while yes, I would recommend this game, I would only recommend it to those who are okay with trying to get by the sometimes horrendous balance, don't care much about cosmetics (or at least has the money to spare for them if willing), or anybody generally looking for a new game to try out. If you're looking for a competitive experience, I don't think I would say this is the game for you.

This game is great! Wasn't wholeheartedly planning to play it myself, but my friend bought it for me and y'know what? I enjoyed it! Great story, designs, graphics, etc. Bosses are fun to face and it's also a lot of fun to try and connect with the members of your cult!

I wouldn't say it's so worth what it is right now, but maybe that'll change after the content updates come out. Otherwise 10/10 game to me, definitely recommend playing!
