Excellent game with a heartwarming story, sadly it takes less than an afternoon to complete.

This game is a great way to relax from a stressing week of work, since you have some gameplay elements, a.k.a mixing drinks, while a story unfolds before your eyes as you progress. You don't need to do many motor tasks, so your brain is still engaged while not pumping adrenaline everywhere.

Helps to relax and the soundtrack is 10/10.

Looks may be deceiving. At first I thought this was some kind of cash grab mobile game, after all, there seems to be a wave of idle monster training mobile games coming to PC that's unreal.

But, this is a Card Game about a Hellish Train, riding on a railroad to re-ignite the Hell Pyre. The art style is unique and well done, the game is roguelike, just like Slay the Spire and I'm inclined to say, I've had more fun with this game than with Slay the Spire for a main reasons:

- The replayability is super well made, with the starting cards being random and with so many clans to choose from, you have a huge number of combinations that will keep you entertained for a long time.

The clans are super charming and feel very unique, I'm having a blast trying stuff out in the daily challenges as well as the community challenges.

I may only have 4 hours of playtime as of now, but usually card games bore the hell out of me way earlier than that and I have no intentions of stop playing Monster Train any time soon.

Overall, it's a hidden gemstone amongst card games. 10/10

Early Access Review
This game deserves way more ocidental attention that it currently has, because this a mixture of genres that work really well with really charismatic characters, with a relatively low skill cap, because the main source of "power" that makes you win games, is game knowledge, which a lot is presented to you, from the the basic how to play to how the game handle the attributes of your character are interpreted by the game and how it determines the damage you deal/take.

It's not only really addicting, the game is not frustrating at all, because:
- The RNG that exists does not punish you in any way, since the number of resources provided is plentyful
- Character skills are not hard to understand and you can practice them in custom mode to understand how to play with/against
- Everything is under your control, if you are willing to pay attention and scout for information, from looking at the mini map for sound pings to placing cameras in key locations.
- Item building is really flexible and it allows for different play styles
- The atmosphere is not dense and does not give a sense of imminent danger, so it does not take a huge emotional/mental toll on the player, regardless of result.
- The current plethora of characters is really shy of what it's going to be, but it still has a lot of diversity.
- Balancing characters is not an issue, though you have some that stand out, there is no absolute trash and no absolute god tier characters.

Take a shot, play only a handful of games and reach your conclusion, regardless if you stay or not, I promisse it will be a pleasant experience.

Very nice game! It's a great investment because it's a bunch of games in 1, from classicals to new releases.

Early Access Review
The game is very nice for an Early Access one. Despite the inicial backlash due to server issues, the game now runs smoothly even for people outside the US, such as myself.

The graphics have an unique style are they improving a lot of the game until the final release, I recommend buying now before it gets more expensive!
