Beta was good. This is greater

This game is NOT optimized very well and has memory leaks

It's not CoD but the SBMM sucks turds. Playing by yourself it isn't too bad but once you start grouping with friends it seems like the SBMM launches you into this weird group of cracked out ipad toddlers. They fly around doing trick shots with their toes while loudly munching on chips.

They added an update to help with soft hacks which has been good

Here is a suck up review

In the adrenaline-fueled world of virtual combat, The Finals emerges as a standout free-to-play game that pushes the boundaries of traditional gaming. Boasting dynamic arenas and a unique blend of destruction and strategy, this game offers an immersive experience that sets it apart from the crowd.

One of the most striking aspects of The Finals is its commitment to providing players with an ever-evolving combat environment. The arenas are not just backdrops but dynamic spaces that players can alter, exploit, and even destroy. This adds a layer of unpredictability to the gameplay, keeping contestants on their toes and forcing them to adapt their strategies on the fly.

The game's visuals are a testament to the meticulous design, with beautifully-rendered arenas that serve as a captivating backdrop to the chaos that unfolds within. The attention to detail is evident, making each location feel distinct and adding to the overall immersion of the gaming experience.

While the basic premise involves aiming and shooting, The Finals takes it a step further by encouraging players to utilize the carefully curated virtual environments strategically. Contestants who embrace the chaos around them are more likely to advance, and the game rewards those who go beyond the conventional approach. From burning arenas to the ground to sending wrecking balls crashing into opponents, the possibilities are as vast as the players' imaginations.

The multiplayer aspect, where contestants join teams in escalating tournaments, adds a social dimension to the game. Team coordination becomes crucial as players navigate the dynamic arenas, fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition that enhances the overall gaming experience.

While The Finals may not be for everyone, especially those seeking a more traditional gaming experience, it undeniably delivers a unique and exhilarating ride for those who enjoy the thrill of unpredictable virtual combat. The game's combination of stunning visuals, dynamic environments, and strategic gameplay makes it a noteworthy addition to the world of free-to-play combat games. Embrace the chaos, tear apart arenas, and seize everlasting fame in The Finals!

I can put on a hard hat!

The movement is basic to some other VR games sure but the story telling and physics are great. The environment is highly interactive which is sweet.
I can also play this a lot longer than bone works due to how the movement is done. Also playing on the oculus 2 works like a charm. Might not be as visually stunning as some other VR head sets but the price point and no cables is sweet. Totally recommend if have a vr headset and a capable PC

This is a very unique game in a good way. One thing needs to be said is that this game is not for everyone. This game takes patients and a lot of skill for the first play through. Expect to get lost now and then. The game gives you an objective but no pointer/map. It’s your duty to explore and figure it out yourself. So if you don’t like a game holding your hand and want something challenging this game is perfect for you.

Pros
-Great story
- Fun to play with friends
-Must adapt to all bosses
-Great world design
-Customization
Cons
-Need a controller
-Have to use a summoning symbol to play with others.

So I would give this game 8.5/10
