Early Access Review
Great game, really liked the characters. I hope the story gets completed and it sucks that people get so offended by every little thing that happens in fiction to the point of taking it out on people in real life especially when the creator of the game even WARNS you beforehand...

I'd say its a good game. You have alot of stuff to do and grind for with almost endless weapons and warframes to use with even more endless builds to make to suit your playstyle with absolutely no pay to win systems since the game's premium currency is platinum which you can get entirely free and early by just playing the game. I do sometimes feel lost on what I'm playing for though which makes me end up taking month long breaks since I don't know what I'm working towards half the time but for the people that just want a good game to grind then this is a really good game especially since its free and there's a ton of stuff you can do.

The game is ok, super replayable which is the main factor of the game with different perk combinations to use as well as different survivors and killers to play from but that's pretty much it.

Camping and Tunnelling is quite an annoying issue for playing survivor since you literally cannot play the game unless you sweat and your teammates take ALOT of protection hits for you. I had a game for example where I took 8 protection hits and was slugged 6 times since a Bubba was trying to tunnel out our Leon and in total our team took over 30 protection hits for that Leon to escape. Crazy. As for Camping, Bubba is a perfect example, once you get hooked by Bubba or another killer like the Knight there isn't that much you can do about it in terms of protecting yourself especially since Decisive Strike no longer works in endgame so you're pretty much a sitting duck waiting to get sacrificed or waste your own time on hook to keep the killer camping you so your teammates have extra time to do a gen. They added basekit borrowed time but against certain killers it pretty much does nothing and if anything they can just wait out the borrowed time unless you have Off the Record which also doesnt work at endgame.

There only is one game mode which is their 1v4 mode which sure you could compare with Friday the 13th even though its a different game in terms of gameplay since it did also have just 1 gamemode but Friday the 13th was way more interactive compared to DBD since you had multiple ways to escape or could even band together to kill Jason compared to DBD's one dimensional gameplay. DBD even helped develop Identity V which is a mobile game very similar to DBD that has a 2v8 mode as well as a 1v4 mode which adds variety in what game modes to play compared to DBD as well as Identity V being free as well to which DBD did add an alternative mobile version which has better features than its PC counterpart like actually seeing your teammates perks and item loadouts before going into a game for example. DBD does have potential to be even more fun though if they listened to community ideas and feedback more often since I've seen countless videos on YouTube with modded game modes like prop hunt in DBD or impostor (when the killer looks like one of the survivors) which already looks way more fun than what we currently have.

Gameplay wise for survivors is just sit on gens and if not that then its being chased, hooked, tunnelled / camped. You would say killer should be more fun then which to me it is if you don't care about winning and just do rift challenges since its pretty much stress if you actually care about winning on killer and sometimes to win they're forced to pretty much camp / tunnel out survivors which makes the annoying paradox of camping / tunnelling not being fun to play against but camping and tunnelling is pretty much what killers have to do if they want to win easier unless a player DCs which is another issue since its an instant GGs for the other 3 survivors 95% of the time if a teammate DCs early or gets camped / tunnelled out the game early.

DBD has made improvements like adding a search bar and being able to auto level bloodweb (even though it's not really automatic but rather semi automatic since you have to click the button for every level instead of just clicking once and it using all of you bloodpoints) but lets be real that should of been added YEARS ago and for some reason in regards to the "auto" blood web system they don't let you auto level the very first level of a character which is known as prestige 0 which makes no sense considering that should literally be what the auto bloodweb is for and so you're forced to level that manually. 6/10 overall for me. Still gonna play every now and then if the rift looks good I guess.

Good game, Haven't been able to even touch a game that's single player in a long time since i generally just get bored too easily but FFVII kept me entertained the entire time. Enjoyed my time playing.

It's on steam sure, but the original one performs better.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game. One of the few games that I can actually play and forget that I'm playing a game and wasting my time but when the queue times hit +4hrs it comes daunting back to me, especially if you just got back from work / school and just want to relax. 7/10 until they fix the servers especially for the EU audience, you could complete dark souls before you get out of queue.
