The steady progression of Equipment or materials, combined with the constant threat zombie hordes destroying it all, makes this game unique.

Other games of similar genre, will have you collect weapons and then you can fight off any and all threats to you and your base. 7DTD is different, as there there pradicatble waves that occur every 7 days, but also random waves of enimes meaning you can never have your defences down, coupled with having to repair things, collect the required materials to do, and also prgress further in the game.

I won't lie to you, this game is hard. Not as hard as your average dark souls, but the delicate balancing act is not for the faint of heart.
