To anyone who is looking to buy this game or already own it, please for the love of God use the Viva New Vegas mod guide. Not to sound like an advertisement (for something that is completely free), but it gives the game much needed stability and optimization, along with optional stuff such as improving gunplay and adding sprinting.

Thanks to Viva New Vegas, I have finally felt the urge to play New Vegas again. I used to play it a lot when I was younger, but could never quite get into it in recent years. Now that the game does crash every 10 minutes, has some better mechanics, and is all around more enjoyable to play, I have finally been able to get into the story and quests. This game, despite its rushed development and age, is a masterpiece.

TL:DR THIS GAME GOOD, FOLLOW VIVA NEW VEGAS MOD GUIDE, YOU WILL NOT REGRET.
