This is a really cute game!
Very unique gameplay, easy to grasp (But a bit hard to fully understand), and it was a lot of fun. I feel like there is a lot of potential for things to be added and changed up a bit, but I had a lot of fun, and really enjoyed everything. There are a few bugs here and there (For example, having a controller plugged in messes with your movement), and while some things are explained well, others are not. I also kind of wish there was a mode for just continuously playing, like an endurance mode, where you could have more focus on dungeons and building your university exactly how you want. Also kinda wish there was a way to delete or move rooms, but I suppose that plays into the random aspect.
All in all, really good game! A total treat!

Can't go wrong with free! Cute little game. I see potential for more endings, but I think this would be an interesting game for a teacher to utilize during an ethics unit. Very short, simple, nothing insane but I thought it was pretty cute.

Also HOW IS MY WIFE ALLERGIC TO CORN, WE LIVE BY CORN, I'M ASSUMING WE LIVE ON A CORN FARM?! I DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE PICKED A WORSE WIFE.

Okay I haven't played for very long yet, but I do wanna give a shoutout to the devs for both the accessibility features AND the option to have your character in a wheelchair.
My little sister uses a wheelchair and has limited mobility, her eyes absolutely lit up once she saw that her character could use a wheelchair. She was so happy to have a character like her, and I was happy that the accessibility features would allow us to play together and have fun <3

Salim is an absolute chad and nothing will ever change my mind.

By far, House of Ashes is the best installment in the Dark Pictures Anthology, and I'd even say better than Until Dawn (Which even the past two weren't better, in my opinion). The character development feels real and dynamic, your choices actually make a difference like they should, the story is fantastic, the setting and plot twist are insane but somehow, work. If you have been disappointed in Little Hope and Man of Medan, please give House of Ashes a try! I really hope that Supermassive keeps up the momentum with their next installment, and of course, The Quarry, which I will definitely be playing. I have no idea how anything can top the amazingness that is House of Ashes, but I do have hope!
I especially loved the dynamic between Salim and Jason. I would enjoy a spinoff with just those two!
There are some disappointments, like actions taken or plots that feel a bit empty (For example, when a certain character is allowed to go home, you don't see it.). I also got a little bit annoyed at the relationship drama. Despite how much I love House of Ashes, I feel like Supermassive has yet to write a female character that is actually good. Making a solid, good female character is hard, and I feel too many things make the mistake of "She'll be good if we just make her super aggressive all the time!", nope, Rachel was a huge miss for me, as were Angela and Taylor in Little Hope, and so on. But really, that's all I have to complain about.

Excited to see how the next installment compares to this one! Definitely grab some friends and have some fun getting each other killed! Also, massive replay value, I've already played through three times with my friends, and it's amazing. You won't regret it!

Edit 3/10/23: It now forces you to launch through the EA app, which is broken, and won't launch my game. Don't buy this hot garbage, find it "somewhere else" wink wink nudge nudge, but for real I'm kinda pissed

This makes me pretty sad to leave a negative review but they get lost in the void anyway, here it goes:
If you have never played the Sims before, you will probably be fine. If you played 2 or 3, then stick with 2 and 3.
EA really dropped the ball on this one. Base game, without expansions, is basically an empty wasteland. It doesn't feel like a game, the build menus are empty, your choices are few, a lot of stuff is just missing. DLC has its place, but I feel like the base game should hold its own without, and DLC should just expand upon the game or add some extra features that make it enjoyable. The game shouldn't only be defined by its DLC. After playing on a friend's copy, who had all of the DLC, I realized just how different the games we had were.
EA is money hungry and released this full of bugs, glitches, and missing content. You pay full price for a blank slate, then the outrageous prices for the DLC to make it somewhat enjoyable, and will still experience bugs, crashes, and issues I'd expect out of a low budget indie game, not a big name title like the Sims.
The Sims 2 and 3 were masterworks, I grew up with them, I played some spin-offs on various consoles, and had tons of fun doing so. TS2 and TS3 both had more content BASE GAME than The Sims 4 does with every DLC. SO many features were removed along the way, and there are tons of videos showing everything from the big things removed down to the little details left out.
Moving from 3 to 4, I noticed some things that were just glaringly upsetting. While a bit slow-running in its later stages, 3 had an amazing open world, I felt encouraged to participate in the community, with the Sims 4, I don't want to leave my lot, the world feels dead, controlling separate groups in your household feels clunky, and it's just kinda blah. The neighborhoods are massively smaller than the ones in both 2 and 3, and it lacks the world-building features that these games had as well. The life states (vampire, werewolf, human, alien, etc.), are one of the coolest parts of the Sims in my opinion, they all drastically change your gameplay and add tons of cool new features. While I feel like the vampires in TS4 are done well, there is a glaring lack of life states in comparison to older games, especially TS3. These are just a few issues I have, out of the many. With how this one is in comparison to TS3, I have zero hopes for TS5. There are some cool features, I do love the aspiration system (Grilled cheese makes its return!), how you control toddlers has way more than in previous games, and some little things, such as Sims chatting as they do various activities. But still, SO many features were removed, and things introduced in some TS3 expansions were split into multiple expansions and packs for TS4, just milking the fans. Even features in this one, such as "whims" (the wishes from TS3) and even a calorie system, were just abandoned a few packs later. The whims don't include whims from the newest expansions, so they have a way to disable them in the menu. The calorie system was abandoned in a weird way, in which there are calories, but your sim HAS to work out to lose them. Later, DLC foods do not have a calorie value, so your sims get fat off of base-game salads instead of fried foods.
Also, the fact that this runs worse than TS3, which got notoriously slow-loading in its final days, really stands for something. The AI in TS4 is absolutely ridiculous. So many times I had to go in and use debugs to make them stop breaking. The AI trying to take care of babies is atrocious, I ended up just ageing them to a child. And the pet AI is also just ridiculous. I ended up installing a mod to control my pets cause I couldn't figure out what was upsetting them, and they literally just don't take care of themselves.
100%, if you really want it, grab it on sale, but be prepared to drop a paycheck on DLC just to make it fun. Before buying DLC, make sure you do research into what all it adds first, as a lot of it is lackluster, and if it's buggy (Wedding Stories is seriously SO broken.). If you are a new Simmer, then in my opinion, grab TS3 or try to find a way to play TS2. TS2 shows its age a bit, but it's incredibly fun, and TS3 is probably in my top ten favorites. Enjoy those while we wait for the release of TS5, and hopefully by then, EA puts some actual love into it and makes it playable.

***Most of the anger behind this review was from EA not adding the horses back from TS3 >:(
(Okay not really, but seriously, they were cool and unique, give me my horses, jerks.)

I finally finished this DLC, and I think it's great! Euric's story could use some work, it ends in a really unsatisfying way. We're just left to assume something went wrong. As for Smiler, I thought his story was very satisfying, way more than Euric's! So with one unsatisfying end, another makes you smile, and maybe cry a little over a pixel ghost.
As for the content, I'd say it's worth it. You get the ability to remote craft workbenches, which is nice, and with the ability to change organs at the bench, you can make a corpse go up to 26w, making it the new max, and increasing how nice our graveyards can be.

Overall, the story line was cute, the stuff afterwards can change your gameplay, and I'd say it's worth it! If you're not sure, just grab it on a sale. Definitely does not deserve all the hate it's getting.

This game has a lot of potential!
It's super early access right now, you can tell within the first few days that there's a lot of work yet to be done. But despite that, it is REALLY fun. I got about 20 hours of gameplay with two friends, the other 13 hours were just me having fun and relaxing. It's a really great game to relax in, just go through the motions of caring for your animals, it's really nice.
I'd recommend playing with a group, as things are a lot more fun with friends, and it doesn't seem too balanced for singleplayer yet. It's difficult to manage everything with just one person.
I hope in the future there would be some more QoL features and maybe some upgrades to horses, specifically. Killing a meat producing animal and having to manually pick up each individual piece of meat is horrible, then having to process that piece by piece, it gets old. I found the cows to be the most fun to care for, milking is a lot more fun than picking up thirty pieces of meat.
Additionally, the horses were kind of disappointing. They're super expensive to work up towards, but hold no real practical value. And training them is just riding for hours and jumping over the same two jumps. They can't carry anything on their back, and you can't shoot off their back either. It'd be nice if they were practical to take hunting, or small errand trips, or something. Right now, they're just very time intensive things. They cost more than a car, and can do way less. I haven't managed to sell one yet because the time it takes to train them is really bothersome.

Despite all that, this game has super potential! Especially being a multiplayer ranch game. I'm really excited to see what the devs do in the future and what all is brought to the table, and I super look forward to an eventual horse overhaul!

This is a really cute and fun game!
I was looking for something for a Christmas themed stream, and you'd be surprised (Or maybe not) at the lack of Christmas themed games (Excluding games with Christmas updates). I have never played Cthulhu Saves the World, but it's been in my library for a while and always was described as something fun and humorous, so I gave this one a try.
The dialogue is definitely the star of the show here! It's absolutely perfect and hilarious, I loved it so much that I've considered going back and redoing some things to make sure I can read it all!
The game is split into three different things;
1. Christmas Town. Here, you pick who you're going to talk to/what you're going to do, this builds your "Ry'lehtionships" and gives you an item. You can't talk with everyone in one playthrough, so pick carefully, especially if you want the achievement for forming a full Ry'lehtionship!
2. Dungeon. You go through dungeons, which are all mazes, and make your way to the boss. You can find chests with new items in them, and of course, you can trigger battles.
3. Battle. When a bar fills up in a dungeon, you enter a battle, which can be avoided (Thankfully, since I got annoyed with them towards the end), you play in a typical turn-based thing where you use a variety of abilities and whatnot to defeat your enemies. It was not my style of game at all, however, the enemy design and simple fightplay made it enjoyable! It was really only the last dungeon or two I got tired of fighting and wanted to make it to the end, but that can also be blamed on me streaming and wanting to be done, but feeling too stubborn to stop so close to the end!

All in all, super fun, short (5 hours for me), great dialogue, unique and interesting enemy design, and just fun. I could see myself giving out keys to this next Christmas, and I'm really excited to try out Cthulhu Saves the World!

Seriously, it's a treat. Do yourself a favor and grab it!

I'm ready for my steam account to be forever tainted after posting this lmao.
So my friend bought this for me as a joke, and guilted me into accepting it by saying "It's a gift, you can't reject a gift!" So I accepted it with zero intention of playing it. But then that turned into "It's a gift, you have to play it!"
And I have to admit, I was curious? Like the worst thing that happens is I don't like it, feel ashamed of its existence on my profile, and move on, right? But I actually thought the story was really cute, and really well done. Like yeah, it's porn, you follow a futanari on her sexual adventures. But at the same time, the underlying story is actually REALLY GOOD.
So the main character just grew a ♥♥♥♥ one day (Explained in the last chapter), and got really insecure about it. She cut off all her friends, stopped trying to make new ones, and became a total shut in. Through all of her sexual adventures with the people in the story, she learns self-acceptance and that these people love her, or her magic penis, no matter what. My personal favorite story was Clover's, as I felt like this one really hit home about the self-acceptance bit.
I also thought the music was really nice, it gives a super uplifting vibe and I really enjoyed it! And the color palette is also nice. I just think it's neat.
So yeah, porn game, lots of sex, lots of different flavors of sex, but also, really nice story. I liked it enough to write a review and taint my profile forever, also, my mom, one of my old teachers, tons of old classmates, and my aunt, are all on my steam friends list, so now they all get to know I played Futa Fix ♥♥♥♥ Dine and Dash.
HI MOM

Really great game! My friend bought this for my birthday, and it was a total blast.
This is a short horror puzzle game, where you can't find the monsters you face, but you can outsmart them and hide. There's a lot of interesting puzzles, especially for some of the achievements. I seriously can't recommend it enough. It's short, but it's quality. Each ending was satisfying, the enemies are designed so interestingly, and the puzzles were not annoyingly hard, but still challenging enough to make you think.
The only complaint I have, is during the "big reveal", the Kobold tells you some things that don't really line up with what the game has told you. It leaves things open for discussion and speculation, but I wish it was a bit more solid so we could understand the lore a bit better.
This is best experienced going through with NO guide for your first run. It's short enough that you shouldn't be annoyed going through several times (As in, it doesn't feel horribly repetitive), just do what feels right to you. Also, the save system is really great in that all of your saves are kept and can be loaded from, which makes doing achievement runs a breeze! Especially helpful when I messed up a particularly in-depth achievement and needed to go back a bit.
If anything, I think you should at least give it a go on sale, and if you enjoy this, check out Yuppie Psycho next! I'm playing through that right now, and it's like The Count Lucanor on steroids. Love it.

Oh also ♥♥♥♥ the Red Camerlengo.
