Absolutely phenomenal, 100% lived up to the hype it received when it released.
You play as a cat in a post apocalyptic-ish setting, who gets lost and is trying to find their way home. You have to solve puzzles, escape floods of horde-like enemies, and traverse your way through the city.
I was worried that this was overhyped and wouldn't be as fun, but it was really wonderful. The platforming is incredibly satisfying, and the devs obviously put a lot of love into all of the cat's interactions, animations, vocals, etc., making an incredibly wonderful experience for cat lovers.
Definitely will be playing through again to get all the achievements, and I will be on the lookout for the next title from the devs. I feel as though there are more stories to be told in this setting, and while this one was satisfying, there is definitely room for more!

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.
I know everyone is saying it's Pokemon with guns, but it's really more like ARK with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick. Also minus all the bugs that ARK had numerous years after launch (Of course with some, but way less than any recent AAA game I've played)
It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. You build a base, collect cute creatures, they do all your ♥♥♥♥ for you, you adventure on a MASSIVE map. And like, the map isn't even souless or void of anything interesting, I'm 45 hours in and still haven't discovered the whole thing.
The boss fights are cool and come in many flavors, and just, wow, everything is awesome.
Given the reception the game has received, I'm excited to see where it goes in the future. It's great as is, but has potential to become GOTY with the right tweaks and updates. Definitely worth more than $30, grab it!

As a side note, I find it to be full of soul and love. Every pal (Pokemon lmao) has a set of unique animations, and they're all lovely. Really incredible considering how people have been asking Gamefreak for years for unique animations, but have never received.

This is a really cute game! As a little girl growing up, a lot of horse-oriented games were just shovelware. For a very long time, the best "horse game" was Red Dead Redemption II, and it maybe still is. But this is pretty great! In depth horse breeding, skills, fun events, dress-up, it's pretty cool!
I will say that I absolutely HATE that horse breeds and foal care are locked behind DLCs. I also think that some of it needs work, I encountered a lot of glitches, as well as stuff that was obviously just unpolished. For the love of all that is holy, please, fix the event that occurs when you crash into things. It is the most annoying thing ever.
That being said, I had a lot of fun. Out of all the sudden dev teams trying to cash in on horse girls (Finally!), this one does it pretty well! And after doing some looking around, it looks like they're going to be adding more, which is exciting! If you've been wanting a new horse game, this is it!

This is a really good game! If you like South Park, then it's pretty much like getting to take part in a really long and cool episode.
You don't have to play Stick of Truth first to understand anything (Though it does have a few references), it's also worth noting that if you do go back and play Stick of Truth, the combat in this one is way better, and I like that there's only one achievement that you'd have to restart the game for (Tolkien's achievement) However, something kinda disappointing, is Stick of Truth really had a better story and was wackier imo.
But yeah if you like South Park, get it! The combat is pretty fun and the story, adventuring, quests, etc., are all in very typical South Park fashion. I'm just about to start the DLCs after a few more achievement hunts but I'm really excited to keep going.
On a different note, it is kind of annoying that the title for a milestone (Collectibles, selfies, etc.) will be achieved before you've 100% it. I know this is kinda whatever, and some of the collectibles don't even have achievements (also weird), but it was annoying to keep track of everything.

This game really has no business being as good as it is.
I was just looking in my library for some mindless cookie-cutter simulator game, and this popped up, I think from a Humble Bundle? Anyway, I gave it a shot, figuring it'd be some mindless fun for a little bit. But like, it's actually good?
There are some things that need polishing, sure. And I hate the RC car race super bad. But otherwise, it's a really fun game. The minigames are cute and varied, and it's so satisfying to stock your station. I really love the little details, like how items show up on the shelves.
I was going for all the achievements, but the RC car one was driving me nuts, and my popularity was becoming a drag to improve, so I think I'll take a break until I get the air strip DLC!
Overall, it's really fun. I thought it would just be mind-numbing, and the latter game can kinda be this way (Farming for popularity was a drag, this is improved with the free DLC), but it's actually a really fun and enjoyable game!
If I had one real complaint, the sand moving is really annoying. I turned off the sandstorm event just because it was driving me nuts. I also didn't understand the purpose of the cards? They have stats on them, but they don't do anything? Future update?:)
(Oh and, for what it's worth, the RC car race isn't even that bad, I'm just a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥ lmao)

Incredibly fantastic, definitely grab a group of four though. Fun art style, fun music, fun gameplay, it's overall just a total blast:)

First off, if you're here looking at reviews, go read Question Arcs FIRST! This is the second part! For some reason I was a dumbass and got confused when I first was looking at it

Anyway this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ phenomenal. By far the most amazing trip that any reading has ever taken me on, and everything surrounding it is perfect. Make sure to have volume up, ideally with headphones.
If you're looking at this and you haven't read it yet, just make sure you go over to Question Arcs, so you don't hit any spoilers.

Makes me super bummed to give one of these a negative review, but this one is just... so bad.
It's not even so much that the story was fairly underwhelming, especially in comparison to it's predecessor, House of Ashes, but the game was 100% unfinished. TONS of really weird cuts and edits, we were playing Mark, who was happy noticing another survivor at the lighthouse. We swapped to that survivor, who then found him tied up in a closet? What? And then it went like, she sees him tied up, to her finishing untying him, it was a super weird cut, and the game is full of stuff like this.
It also really felt like your decisions didn't matter, and more playthroughs could maybe change my opinion here, but, spoiler, the killer always gets away. You can't "win" against him, unless to you, winning is just mildly inconveniencing him for a bit.
Again, I really enjoyed the other Dark Pictures games, especially House of Ashes, and this one was super weak in comparison to the others.
I will say that to its benefit, it's fun played in a group. Absolutely do not play without others unless you enjoy suffering alone. I also did appreciate some changes they made, such as each character having items, or being able to finally run. However, the run cycle was just... gross lol, it looked like the kind of run animation you'd have in a beta. And the items, while cool for some characters, were lame and weird for the others. I mean, you have the dude who can unlock things with his tie pin, cool. Then you have a girl who calms herself down with... a chunk of amethyst.
I wouldn't be so upset if this was a new game that just released, cause I'd have hope they'd fix all the bugs quickly. But this came out in NOVEMBER. All those months and they haven't bothered to polish this up or fix it, and they still want $40 for it?! Absolutely nuts. If you want this style of game, check out the others, or even The Quarry (Which is 10/10 imo). But for now, stay away, or just watch someone else's playthrough.

Bought this for my little sister's birthday, and we had a blast! This might look more geared towards little kids, but even as an adult, I had a lot of fun playing on my own or with other adult friends. There's a lot of really cute events and details, the dialogue is adorable and witty, and overall, definitely worth the price tag.
The only thing I'll say is, it's a lot more fun with friends! Some of the things seem a bit more geared towards or balanced for groups of 2-4, rather than just 1, which is kinda bummy. For example, I can't complete the Newspaper job to save my life! And some other jobs I just barely get by. But other than that, it is really super fun and I can't wait to see what else they add!
