The Trunks DLC was good but after that the DLC really takes a worse and worse dip with every DLC to the point the world tournament arc is barely even a DLC it feels like. The cutscenes were only good a handful of times and the rest they just look lazily done and if you skip the cutscenes the arc takes like 30 minutes to finish and they made a big deal about sidequests then there was like one sidequest. Overall I'm not entirely disappointed with the season pass because of the trunks DLC but ultimately it just looked like they got lazier and lazier and made us drop $40 on what ended up feeling worse than the first season pass content.

Sure it's OG DB and the ground combat was somewhat interesting but it was absolutely squandered by the fact there was practically no content. This feels like a fan mod someone spent maybe a month on and I'd believe it if it weren't for the maybe 4 good cutscenes. Outside of those cutscenes they felt wildly uninspired and lazy. If it was only in the dialogue scenes that looked bad I wouldn't have cared but the cutscenes that are actually supposed to be animated and have always looked good were only good 25% of the time and only for the good fighting moments. I was excited for this DLC but was trying to at least hold my expectations to the Bardock DLC because I don't mind repetitive gameplay as long as you have good cutscenes but I left this entirely disappointed. (On top of the fact it took me about 2 hours with breaks in between. It would have been about 30 minutes if I skipped the cutscenes.)

I would just recommend getting the standalone client because I can't recommend the steam version until they fix it. There is constant random split second freezes even on my high end pc. It's just enough to be disorienting and annoying. Will change it once they fix the freezes.

Fantastic game and despite EA taking over it feels fantastic all around. The racing and all of that feels great and there are a lot of improvements both to the racing, the AI, and the damage models making it more immersive. I do wish they still had the older cars and maybe a more fleshed out Formula 2 career and maybe even Formula E but that would all be extra to what's already here and what's here is incredibly satisfying. In F1 2020 it felt like there was just like My Team/Driver Career, Time Trial and Online but with F1 2021 having the option to choose My Team/Driver Career, Co-op Career, Time Trial, Multiplayer (with a few little things added), AND Braking Point it just leaves me in awe of what to do because there is so much content and I have more motivation than ever to want to continue to play this F1 game other than to just try and further my My Team career or try and do online racing. Definitely worth full price even now that it's an EA game.

Fantastic gameplay, a little bit to be desired but plenty of gameplay and fun things to do to be worth the price! Excited to see what comes next!

Not worth the money. So many things wrong and it seems like nothing improved from the first one and they might have even gotten worse since the first one.

Good game to chill with. Wish that so many mods didn't need different DLCs but either way its pretty dope and fun.
