This is absolutely excellent. It's an good RPG with a half decent story with gets more credit than its due, with an interesting premise. It excells in characters, world, and atmosphere, which are the main reasons I play this game.

Fallout NV has a decent story that never really motivates you to go after the guy that shot you in the head, You'd think they'd be able to make you hate him, but no, he's just another wasteland ***hole. Other than that, there's 4 choices for how you progress which are all kind of bad, but there are clearly "better" endings. The transition from "WHO SHOT ME IN THE HEAD?" to "WHO OWNS THIS DAM?" is pretty smooth though. The characters also ooze personality, but that doesn't completely make up for the shortcomings of the story. Despite not making you hate Benny early on, you do have incentives to move forward the story. New Vegas is cool, and the whole deathclaw quarry does give you the opportunity to try and risk it to get through that area, it never ends well.

One of the biggest weaknesses of Fallout 3 and NV is the combat. Despite a few improvements it's still clunky and not the best, but it isn't a turn away from the game. This game is not ment to be a shooter, it's an RPG. There are numerous mods out there to improve it, but nothing too revolutionary.

When I first played Project Zomboid, I was afraid of every noise, every crunch of my feet, every possible undead around any corner.

I'm happy to say that the new update has recaptured that feeling.
