Allow me to tell you a Story...(NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING DONE)
This. Is a Story of a Never Ending War. A Tale of Two Energies, the Light and the Dark, constantly struggling for dominance. A Tale of a Universe that has ever-threatened to collapse upon itself, should this war ever end and allows peace to reign. This is the Story... of the Eternal Godly War.

It began during the end of the old world, and a new Earth born from the ashes. One of the few Ages put to scripture. The 7th Age... a new age of Peace.

Two brothers, the Forcefully Bred Sons from the Ancient Goddess of Light: "Palutena", had attacked and killed their Father. The God of Darkness, "Hades", was completely erased from this world with his Soul torn in two to avenge the death the Holy Mother and to clense the world of his corruption and ever destructive power.

The War was finally over yet again. Yet... the world, its gods, and most of its inhabitants were burned to ash. Their battle was great, and all who were stuck in the middle had perished. Yet...the sacrifice of the Old Gods had brought the chance of something magnificent. The two brothers, named "Gohb Niwell (Light Lord)" and "Gahbin Niwell (Darkness Lord)" by the Lady Palutena before her death, would not see what that could be... until it happened.

From the Ashes of the Old World and the Holy Pantheon that had fallen... life would spring anew. A New World, New Gods and Goddesses, New Mortals, and New SOULs for each were created from the Natural Energy... and the Brothers who held control over it. This new world was a world forged with the hopes of finding a way to cease any conflicts among any and all races of life, be they Mortal or Immortal, under the Watch of the New Gods from their new Heavenly Kingdoms of Light and Dark from above and below which each held their own Holy Pantheon...

...Was an impossibility made possible?

The Brothers, along with those in their Kingdoms, had forged a world where Peace between the Light and the Dark was at last possible. Being constantly watchful over the balance of Energy, and using their powers of manipulating this energy to ensure perfect balance through existence... there was hope. There was a hope that the ever natural temporary peace would possibly last. No more need for War ...no more need for destruction. No more need for the Energies to Clash and Quarrel for dominance over the other.

...But this peace never had a chance to remain stable.

Several bizarre occurrences, once believed to be impossibilities, were becoming their reality. Some mortals inexplicably grew rapidly in Power, possibly matching the strength of Angels and Demons. Rips in the Fabric of Time and Space created entrances to other Worlds with their own rules of existence. Unstable, yet powerful souls formed from the Lifestream... somehow perfectly balanced in equal parts Light and Dark, which began creating a never-before-seen energy that rivaled the natural order of this world...

All of these were signs that reality was threatening to collapse upon them. Alas... fate would not allow for the peace to continue.

There was only one option. One choice for the continued survival of their world. Gahbin Niwell, and his own Unholy Pantheon, allowed the Cycle of War to flow once more. Using his power over the Darkness, he waged war against his brother... Intent on taking control of the Mortal Worlds and forging his own from it. For the sake of their world's continued survival. A destructive conflict had begun between the two forces; Between Gohb's Light and Gahbin's Darkness, between Angels and Demons... between the Gods of Creation. Just as the new world was forged, a new conflict would be born. The Eternal War raged on once again.

(THE REST OF THE STORY ONWARD IS EVEN MORE UN-FINISHED AND PRETTY STUPID. PLEASE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER THAN YOU HAVE NOW. I'M SERIOUS, IT SUCKS.)

But, Gaben had one last trick up his sleeve. He created his own version of me in order to combat against my abilities. This new Demon was named Injustice: Prince of the Dark. However, he changed his name as well. His new name to this day...is Dark Freeman. The tides turned back torwards us, as the battle of the Gods started to escalate to further destructive odds. The lands soon started to split apart from the battles, and the many diffrent spiecies of the world were forced to be moved to their own individual land to survive. From the split came a Sphere of an Unknown Energy...and it soon became the energy that would create yet another land. Soon, however, the War was over...we had defeated the Dark lord. The resulting explosion from Gaben as he was defeated created the Big Bang which created the universe you know of today in the center of the split worlds now known as the Multi-Verse.

I was destroyed after defeating Gaben in the battle. But my father kept my soul in our home-land: The Realm of the Light. Many Millenia had passed...my father sensed that Gaben was returning...and he soon re-created me. I was sent into the newest Universe to a planet known as "Earth". My father had changed my memories into making me believe I was a mortal, so the Dark Ones couldn't find me. I soon attended a job at a facility known as "Black Mesa"...and I was oblivious to my true Identity.

But...things started to change. I was soon getting flashbacks of my past of the War. I believed they were just dreams and visions at first...but months later...that had changed. On one peculiar morning...I saw a strange man talking with our administrator, Dr. Breen, in a nearby room. I believe the man convinced him to boost the Anti-Mass Spectromiter to 105% during our test, which was to turn these Crystals the Scientists were finding from...somewhere...into a power source for the whole planet...a mistake that soon started...the Black Mesa Incident.

I was able to survive by making my way to the Lambda Complex and completing certain tasks along the way and somehow re-gaining my powers. After a while...they soon told me of where the problems were coming from: In a world known as "Xen". Little did I know that Xen was actually a world created by the Dark Lord himself. I faught my way through the Demons, hoping to make my way to the lair of the Monster behind this mess: Gaben.

Along the way, I soon found myself in a Factory-Like area that was manned by the Vortigaunts. At first, I thought they were hostile like the rest of them. But I soon found out they could communicate in English. They told me they were forced to work under the Dark Lord, and one of them used a Spell on me that would let me re-claim my memories in full in due time. After helping them get free, I soon found my way into Gaben's Chamber, preparing for the final showdown.

Eh. It's been... a bit of a mess for me. Not that the game itself is bad, it's just that my hardware might not be all that up to snuff with it or something. Got a personal problem that I won't go too deep into.

I won't personally be sticking around for the long run, like I do the classic series games. But hey, I'd still say it's not a bad experience to go through. It's certainly not Insect Armageddon, but it's not as catching as say 4.1 or 5. But hey, it's certainly leaning more towards the latter at least.

I'd recommend it, but mostly for the main campaign. I don't think i'll be doing any of the PVP stuff.
