They, once again, knocked it out of the park. I wont parrot my previous review too much, its just more of the same, and that same is some good ♥♥♥♥. I will say that I hope you're good with heights and perilous jumps. the beginning section is pretty intense in VR (think the under the bridge segment in the HL2). I did run into a couple bugs such as the flashlight randomly turning off when interacting with flares, as well as my gun getting stuck in the floor every now and then (although, that may be a controller tracking issue on my end), but other than that, i enjoyed a pretty bug free experience.

TL;DR
Just as good as HL2 VR, great experience

Its so good, I've been waiting for a "start and play" version of HL VR for a while now, since it seems a lot of the alternatives require some setup/ other games and applications. It even makes the air boat section markedly more enjoyable, that alone should speak volumes to this mods quality. If you like VR and HL, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing this.

Make sure to turn on automatic item pickup, there are a lot of items in this game and that setting will make it a little easier to deal with. Also, make sure you leave ladders on immersive, I've run into a few sections where the stick based movement has bugged out on me.

TL;DR
If you like HL 2 and VR, you'll like/love this

Its okay, i imagine it'll be better with future updates. As of right now, however, its just kinda bare bones and janky. The inevitable Phasmophobia comparison is hard to get pass, but i honestly think if this game had a VR mode, it would be the better horror game just by virtue of having more to do rather than evidence, photos and leave. Until then its just a bad attempt and making a game that's been made at least 3 times already in the past couple years. im too lazy to go into detail so ill rapid fire some gripes:

feels way too easy
way too many items that do the same thing
jump "scares" are just obnoxiously loud noises and face in camera
too many constant noises, its hard to get scared when literally everything is making a sound
you can cheat death like 6 times (maybe more) so whats the point of being careful?

TL;DR - its okay, just wait for more updates and try again or just forget about it completely

Really fun, lots of replay value, can't stop playing. Hope you like RNG...

Update: still really good, RNG is worse than ever and ill never be the same. 9/10
