Very fun game, very buggy day 0

Great game, I enjoy it!

In spite of it's flaws, this game is plenty of fun and the gunplay is superb
This game is a good foundation for the next payday 2 to be built on over the years

The game's a joke

The prelude:

The dev took consumers' money 6 years ago and went completely silent on all platforms
When he returned he complained about being sad from a ddos that happened during alpha launch,
as an excuse for being awol with 0 updates for 6 years



the "beta" (aka the pre-launch bug hunt):

Cube World is an open world rpg game focused on exploring
The alpha had randomly generated worlds, that feature's been removed
The alpha had exp, skills, and skill trees, these features have been removed
The alpha didn't penalize you for exploring, the beta actually gimps all your items when you change regions
(this last one is a major problem, because the early game is utter dog crap)





Tl;dr:

Basically the game's had major down grades applied since the alpha, with few boons to replace the gutted mechanics, after SIX years, this can likely be attributed to an absolute absence of actual beta testers

It doesn't help that the community is made up of brown noses and mods that ban criticism they don't like

TFW the number 1 rated thing on steam is an expansion pass

The soda's pretty good in this game

The game's monetization needs updating sure, but the game itself is great, and rather engaging.
