Disappointing "remaster". The graphics upgrades seem to be pretty damn inconsistent with regards to where they apply, the menus still interact like garbage, omni-directional dodging/sprinting while locked on is still not a thing, and they failed to fix bugs while introducing a few new ones.

A game exclusively for men of class. 8/10

A great but complex game with a steep learning curve. The game pits the technologically advanced marines against the highly adaptive aliens (similarly to Terran vs Zerg in StarCraft). Both teams have unique playstyles and strategies which give way to interesting asymmetrical gameplay. Both teams also have a single player who becomes the team's commander. The commander basically builds structures, invests in upgrades, and guides the team as a whole.

In short, this is a difficult game with a strong level of depth, strategy, and tactics.
