A solid reimagining of a classic for VR. The game has one of the best looking interiors in VR and the mocap solution is superb. Special shoutout to the actor playing Mr. Knox.

I get what they're trying to do but I find it more annoying than engaging. Limited resources + zombies coming back to life (after you rekill them) is one of the big things.
Darkness and battery resources are a primary game mechanic but the 'too dark to see' areas aren't closed off from lit areas. Either ambient occlusion or faking eyes getting used to the dark would help immersion but both are absent.
This and other annoyances (lack of melee weapon) are understandable from a gameplay perspective and might be more manageable if the game was flatscreen, but the game is not for me as is.

There's fun mecha-shooting action here, even if you only have passing familiarity with Gundam.
Units are varied and easily distinguished during gameplay. I particularly like the boost/dash mechanic that lets you get back to fights faster, escape, or weave through battles.

Solid with Free2Play trappings. Balance is good (as of Feb '23) and the unlockable units are no longer OP.

Gives you a workout and makes you feel awesome doing it.
Everyone will have their fav track but all of them are bangers.
And, if you dig it, there's effectively limitless replayability.

My only gripe is there isn't a bonus/encore level that uses the classical music on the stage select.

Improves on the formula from Job Simulator in basically every way. And it's a pleasant set of locales if you just want to chill.

A high-quality, well crafted parody.
And the puzzle variations are clever in their own right!

The game gives you incredible 'hack the planet' powers and just doesn't tell you why you should bother using them.
Narrative events are few, with little motivation or explanation. Conversations are frustrating and not natural. Snooping around is easy but none of the 'allied' NPCs care to talk about what you might have discovered unless you trigger their very specific event.

The game really needed better adventure game bones. The programming is complex but the game itself is shallow and way too slow.

Cozy farm simulator / rpg with multiple, low pressure goals. A classic with multiple ways to play and 'succeed'.

A fun monster slaying adventure with plenty of shiny gear and interesting build possibilities.

Sure it can get a bit grindy and there's a large amount of gear rng but that only really becomes relevant if you're min/maxing for the late game.
