Patches don't occur often.
All patches are overhauls of pre-existing systems
hardly any new additional content at all
too expensive for like 4 hours of content.
save games post patches are incompatible

Summary
It'd would be worth buying when finished.
Don't drop the money expecting expecting a lot of content requiring bug fixes
Most of the patches now are to build upon a system they like, not adding anything major.

great game, play with your friends; don't bother looking for randoms.

If you want to find randoms see games:

It's like zombie panic, but better in basically every way, however this genre is kinda dead. *hue hue hue*
if you don't have any friends to play with you, and you need to play solo, don't buy this game.
Otherwise have fun.

PROS:
At least loki's has an ultimate now.

CONS:
moving around this grindfest is a complete chore now, It was only bearable when you could just blink at spirit cost or for free or whatever dumb thing your hero used. Awesome!
Many squishier builds are completely garbage now.
Characters that required more than one bar and did not transition are useless.

Talent system is much better for heroes that were trash, devastating for everyone else.
Talent system has obvious objective branch choices.
I.E. doom has to take a talent for his latverian army now, instead of just having it.

The omega system was overwhelming to newbies, but the new infinity system is a bore and wastes a tone of time.
Talent system would be interesting to new players, but its just a lame tone down of the previous skills' abilities.

TLDR: Before they gimped movement; this game was a grindfest diablo clone with a marvel skin.
Now: You really start to notice how long it takes to reach bosses in midtown, hightown, etc. Many gimmick characters that were fun because of their constant movement or etc, are fun for about 1 second, twice on a twelve second cooldown. So enjoy that double blink when you need to cross maps to kill x boss x times for no drops.

Post Game Clear: review

Compared to every resident evil game I have ever purchased, this game is worth it's price.

That saying, I dont doubt it can be cleared with an optimal route in only a few hours.

However, just as a reminder, so can EVERY resident evil, and they all started out the SAME price.

that said!

I thought revelations worked out the issues of the resident evil series, a good mix of combat, puzzles and multiplayer.

But screw that game, this game is great.

as someone who has beaten every resident evil game but barry gaiden for gameboy, this is easily one of the best, if not the best resident evil game to date.
