I've been playing this game for a good 2 years now. 2,000+ hours total purely on the Steam app (About 1,000 on the stand-alone application.) Combined, I've spent over 3,000 hours playing this game.

I would not recommend this game to anyone, ever.
This game is the best example of Free-to-Play, Pay-to-Win gone wrong.

Admittedly, without "Crowns" (in-game currency bought using real-life currency), this game is a splendid real-time strategy game.

It all falls apart, however, when a free player attempts to interact with a so-called "premium" player.

While you spend grueling days upon days building up a modest village, army, and castle without spending a single dollar, someone can drop a couple hundred dollars on this game, and instantly wipe you out, forcing you to start from the beginning with nothing.

And if the pay-to-win player is indeed wiped out somehow, he can always pay some more real-life money, and instantly be back up and running.

The limiting factor in the game used to be Faith Points, but FireFly Studios has slowly begun to release cards that tamper with even that mechanic. Thus, I have decided to drop this game from my library before being forced to further endure wallet warriors.

Do not get this game, unless you enjoy stressing over whether or not your months of hard work will be erased by someone with enough money to build what you built, in a mere hour.
