Bought this expecting a different game really, i'm really into my city / management games. This game has a totally different playstyle to other games I play and i'm in love! Very additive. The basis of the game is really simple, but I think its very much like Minecraft of "One more block" but instead "One more day"
Anyway, I quickly found out that I cannot drive GTA style as my car will just break on me and I couldn't afford to fix it so I was legging it around this city on foot grabbing my stock for my first shop. Then I fixed my car and could not find a parking space, my partner was like "Lol imagine if you got a parking ticket for parking there" AND I DID. BLOODY PARKING TICKET.
I may have overspent getting stock for my first shop, so my 2nd business (fast food) has been slow going, and ive had to just hang around for a few days (nice time skip mechanic with sleep, or even playing games in your flat) but its never gotten boring. Even running around getting my own stock hasnt been boring.
Ive just gotten a purchasing person who is meant to make stock and deliveries way easier.

Its quite a chill game, addictive, good price for the game. You need to be able to drive a car in game without crashing every few seconds though haha.
Im quite a few hours in and business wise i'm still right at the start but it doesn't feel slow going. Feels just right.

Says its relaxing...as someone whose scared of pools and of liminal spaces, this was deffo a horror game haha
I could not figure out 2 of the pools but, I enjoyed exploring (in a very scared jumpy way) all the pools. If youre intrigued yet scared of liminal pools, its a must play.

Highly recommend! Although....I did let my friends lead the way haha. Great game to stream also and makes for some amazing and funny clips (kiting enemies whilst they are solving puzzles ftw!)
Also, friends doubting that the game is intelligent enough to separate you from others in the maze, well think again.
Cannot wait for the new chapter to be playable. Devs seem great and make regular announcements of progress they are making on new features etc via the Discord.
Graphics are pretty, jump scares mixed with creepy and tense atmosphere - what is behind the next corner? Puzzles are fun to work out also, and Im not one for puzzle games really. Great experience, but advised to play with at least 1 other person.
Exceeded my expectations =)

We all (mostly) read the reviews before purchasing a game, we read the negative and hope that when we play....we will not get the same bugs/negative issues that others get. Well, unfortunately the stutters, water flickering, lag is all apparent in my game too. Its such a shame as I loved playing Rollercoaster Tycoon as a teen, but trying to rotate camera or move around the map causes way too much issue to actually enjoy the game.
I have Planet Coaster which is an AMAZING game (highly recommend) but just wanted to chill a little in something more old school. I really hope that they patch some updates so make this playable, and I shall eagerly await that day =)
So....not recommending this game until such day.

Played for 3 hours, built some kinda house, tree fell onto my house....house withstood tree gg house. Kills some boars and made a campfire. Heard that a friend is already smelting ore, what have I been doing for 3 hours? Admiring the game, and exploring =D
graphics are like...bad but also good?? great lighting epics and depth of field. Kinda like Rust with a bit of Minecraft.

Adore horror games...too scared to play them. But this.....has me hooked. Just the right amount of scare tbh.
The ghosts are not OVERLY scary, but the whole atmosphere of the game is just creepy and amazing.
There are no real jump scares as such but from the moment you walk into the buildings, and the sound gets muffled, you just feel tense, but a good tense haha.
its an amazing game for being in early access too, and its only going to get better.
Great game for playing with friends, and doing investigation as a team (if you are too scared...you can always watch from inside the van and talk to your friends on the in game radio!
