Having an absolute blast. No performance issues personally but I hope From puts in the work to help the folks that have been running into stutters. Easily some of the most rewarding souls content I can recall. Environments that span beautiful and terrifying. People who've invested in learning the lore will get a new answer, clue, or mystery from many of the item descriptions.

Notes for people concerned about the difficulty spike:
-The blessing upgrades are non-optional.
Run past everything on Torrent and explore to collect the ashes and fragments. Dudes carrying pots sometimes drop them. Maybe compromise and look up a map of where they're located (and if you need, a full guide).
-Adapt.
At lvl 160ish, I've had to change up talismans if not armor and weapons to specialize for each boss. If you get really stuck, maybe the answer is buried somewhere in your backpack.
- Summon.
There are NPC summons for quite a few bosses and people are always looking to help out. Sure, maybe you didn't learn how to dodge every one of a boss' attacks but winning together can be its own kind of fun. If you feel like you didn't "earn" something, return the favor and help other people out on that boss.
-Try something new.
They've added so many new things. Don't be afraid to respec to give a different build/weapon a try. The dlc has extra larval tears (look for glowing gravestones at midnight in the open areas). The bosses will still be hard but it might shake you out of bad habits while you learn a new approach.
