I have a very mixed opinion on this game, And this opinion may not be the best opinion (Since I only have about 200 hours at this time), But with the time I have spent I've had quite a bit of taste with what the game has to offer. The game has many gamemodes, (Some not very fun in my opinion like CTF, or Mannpower.) But it opened up a new definition of certain gamemodes for other games to become inspired from. And in my opinion, The game isn't very Pay To Win. Paying for items, just speeds up the process of the game item-wise you can still get the same items without paying for the game, Even cosmetics. With trading, (Atm isn't very good pub-wise, But there are still websites like Scrap.tf and Backpack.tf to help with that.) So I think the game isn't like certain google play store games in that category. Some people may just scream in their heads that "Oh wow, This game has in-game purchases, I don't wanna play it because there will be too many people that have unfair items because they're buying them" But, any free2play can get the same items as someone who pays for awesome items, too. Most of the Team Fortress 2 official store is just cosmetics, and certain things that can give you some silly fun, Or starter packs to help you out. And even if the stuff you want isn't in there, there is a usually less-pricey community store option when you open up the official store. I recently bought an Arkham Cowl from said place and it only costed less than a dollar. When, On the other hand, The official store has the price at around 13$. Now, That doesn't mean that the game is good. Because, (Go ahead and scream plagiarization from FUNKe's video that stated this) The game doesn't communicate very well how to play the game, Or it doesn't give you much help on learning how to. In the training option, there are only four classes (or three I forget) which you can train off of, and while they have an offline computer vs. option, I think that certain classes are overpowered, in this option. Most of all, Sniper. When I'm playing on Medium mode Whenever I enter somewhere a Sniper can see me; I get immediately headshotted. Which in my opinion is very unrealistic compared to the casual gamemode, I only find a Sniper of this level of skill around 1/6 of the time, Which means about 17% of the time compared to 100% of the time. So I think they need to lower the cpu's skill level. And, I haven't been able to have much fun or be able to learn how to play well, because of this factor. I also think there should be an option in casual to search for players of certain levels or of your level, Since there isn't much learning to be had when you're a player with 5 minutes just learning how to play and being targeted by two snipers on the other team when you don't even know where you should be and where snipers can see you or not see you. So, for that reason; I think that the game isn't very good for players that like to go up the ranks at their own speed and I think that only determined, or very skilled people will want to play the game and have fun at the same time.
