This game.

I honestly have mixed feelings and I do not know how to express them because they are mostly bad.

The storyline is mostly made up of cutscenes and the Run N' Gun aspect is cut essentially in half to make way for "Stealth" and map exploration. I get the idea that you could choose your own path to success, but when it leads up into a firefight anyway whats the point? They should've gone one way or the other instead of trying to incorporate two play styles into one game and doing poorly at it. At the end I will talk about the ending.

Now for the Gun Play.

Its fun.

In no other game have I felt the pure power of holding two shotguns and blasting giant robots (except Bethesdas other title DOOM). The raw adrenadline rush when your getting surrounded by Nazi's and you just pull out two automatic rifles and blast away is so fun. This was the best part about the game.

Glitches

I only noticed a few and I did not have many crashing issues unless ALT+TAB out the window. Swimming is very glitchy as some points I would not be able to get out of the water and get shot to death.

Scenes/Landscape

The maps and everything were beautifully made and there was much attention to detail. I think B.J.'s childhood house was the most memorable as it was so desolate and really gave an eerie feeling as you're exploring the house and surrounding
farm area.

The Ending

-NON-SPOILER REVIEW-
OK without any spoilers the ending is contraversial to say the least. If you want to get the game for the story do not purchase this game thinking this will be the best story driven game of 2017, because it certainly isn't and the ending doesnt help that.

-SPOILER REVIEW-
Oh God the ending. It was so bad. Not only was it drawn out to make you think that there is going to be a giant boss fight at the end. Anya and B.J. are storming Frau Engels airship killing Nazi's and whatever. The problem I had here was that the games final enemies are two giant robots, they arent even good giant robots they are like super soliders but BIGGER. NO actual final boss like the first game. This really displeased my view of the game and overall score.
Finally the game decides to TEASE you with a scene of Anya blasting Nazi's, blowing up all of them with a grenade and shooting two rifles with her top off, breasts exposed.

Yeah.

Bethesda then has the audacity to end the game, not only without a real boss fight, Frau Engels gets her face chopped open in a cutscene! IT ALSO ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER leaving the ending open to a sequal. Which I know there will be. You do meet Hitler and he pisses in a bucket so that was cool, but again this scene did not go anywhere and if cut would not have changed the story much.

CONCLUSION
I cannot give this game a good review the flaws outweigh the great gunplay. If you want to buy this game wait a few months maybe even a year for the price to drop to around $20? I bought the Deluxe edition on sale for $40 even though the Original game was still $60 I dont know why this is a good business practice, but whatever I just buy the game to review it not make it.

UPDATE: I try to use steam overlay and it crashes every single time and then I get notifications saying that i opened console and achievements are locked? What the hell?

My save files corrupt and I was almost done with the campaign on I am Death Incarnate?

This game is absolute trash.

What the hell. I spend $35 dollars on Ultimate Edition to get all the DLC just for you to release separate DLC for another $5? Greedy Bastards.

Snakes eat stick figure while he shoots an AK at his 3 other friends who are stuck in glue while they are shooting rifts in time and miniguns that shoot more snakes.

Also the floor is lava.

It's funny because his head is actually a CUP!

It really makes you FEEL like Batman.

This game is fun with friends and good lobbies. Any other time I play it is with people who run me over or are exploiting the bugs.

EDIT: Deleted the bug list because Im not sure how many are fixed or not.


If you have friends, this game is so fun.
Once you are good at the game it is fun.
Some people are fun to play with and you make many great friends.
The feeling of surviving the game or killing an entire lobby is amazing.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: The devs seem to be active enough to be constantly updating the game and improving it which is a big step in the right direction for Indie Devs.

There are numerous bugs, but if you have some friends and are willing to drop a fat dollar on this game, go ahead.
p.s. WHERE IS MY BIKINI DLC?

WE GOT THE DLC AND THE GAME IS A 10/10.

I like the style this game went with and I like the fighting. Though driving is a bit sloppy and Wei only takes 1 sip from his soda then throws it to the ground.

Rush through the area. With your friend.

Enter the area to the next boss.
Die.
Alone.

Then do it all again.
