Fantastic game that builds on the original's game play and expands on it. Visually pretty and gore heavy as well which makes for some cool post-fight aesthetics. Very fun to play if not a bit angering at times. The only drawback to this game is the controls can sometimes be odd to use especially near walls and there are some glitches with loading into new areas and getting stuck inside invisible walls.

10/10. An absolutely amazing experience.

No spoilers, just an overview of my thoughts.

There has not been such a vast and expansive world like this in such a long time this is really a breath of fresh air for games. Every hour I continued to explore the map and gain pieces of the world map it kept growing and growing and even when I thought it was done there was an entire underground section of Elden Ring to explore with even MORE dungeons and secrets and bosses. For as big as the map is it never truly feels empty. I put over 100 hours into the base game, just to beat the final boss and find out I still have more to discover with more bosses to beat and other side quests and story lines to complete before going into NG+.

Even with some bugs that were fixed and some FPS issues this game is incomparable to anything that has come out recently (Battlefield 2049) and goes far and above to prove that FROMSOFT is one of the most creative developers in the industry. The multiple endings you can get, the 100's of different enemies and armor types and weapons and incantations, the story of the game along with multiple paths you can take, builds you can run, stories you can listen to from the many many NPCs, its all valuable lore and it never feels boring to listen to or watch.

This game is difficult, you will be thrown into a world that you must struggle to survive in, but when you achieve victory in a boss fight after 3 days of failures and 10 hours on ONE boss fight (Starscourge Radahn), there is no better feeling than seeing and hearing the final hit connect. You feel truly happy to accomplish and overcome your struggles.

I cannot express enough how amazing and lore heavy this game really is. There is also an amazing soundtrack to top it all off, my favorite being the "Ancestral Spirit" boss fight OST. The only way to experience it is to buy it yourself.

BECOME MAIDENLESS FOUL TARNISHED.

Its a good game and fun with friends, but its extremely buggy and difficult to play as a beginner, wait a couple months for updates before purchasing.

EDIT: Revisited the game, still buggy and terrible UI hasn't changed, not a fun game whatsoever and devs are doubling down on keeping the special operators. Changing my review from a thumbs up to thumbs down.

One of the few times a Sequel surpasses the original and builds off it. Very fun and intriguing story with a very polished army and war system. Online Vendettas are fun and defending/marching onto a fort is SUPER FUN and I enjoyed my time playing this game. The only downside is the controls that are stiff and some times the character will NOT go where you want. Other than that I highly recommend this game.

This game is a 10/10 when you forget about the Battlemode. Its laggy and has connection issues that restrict the flow of the game. Besides that and the stupid water levels (swimming in the game is atrocious) this game is perfect and is the best game of 2020 so far. Most of the complaints are people who either, cant figure out the new "gun-loop" and cant kill the Marauder or people who hate the puzzles and platforms because it slows down game play for 30 seconds.

This series should have just ended with The New Order.

I don't think I have gotten bored of a cooperative game as quick as this one. It was fun for the first couple hours but once the open world type game play was introduced it started to go downhill.

The intro of the game was rushed and if you didn't watch the trailers it seems out of order until about a half hour in when the story comes together, unless you can piece it together yourself it was just a weird way to start. The gun play and visuals are very nice and haven't failed in any of the games so far and I commend the series for keeping that up.

However this game is a total 180 from the other games and it fails miserably at trying to do something different. The idea was great, however the execution is TERRIBLE.

The trailers made it seem like the game would be a Synthwave dream.

However this game HAS NO DISTINGUISHABLE SOUNDTRACK! Every other Wolfenstein game has had a very intense and heavy soundtrack and I was excited to possibly hear some 80's type synth music or even just some heavy metal. There is little to none of that in this game. The soundtrack is so boring and the first boss battle just had generic "Action" music. I have already grown bored of the game and even got stuck in a glitch after falling off a roof into a corner I couldn't get out of.

My biggest gripe is the horrible use of the BUDDY PASS system. From what was shown it looked like they were gonna let me spend $40 to pre-order the game and get two copies to play with a friend and co-op. However, after booting up the game I saw I had to link a Bethesda account to my steam, which is alright that doesn't affect the game too much, however then I read that the BUDDY PASS system works ONLY if your buddy downloads the DEMO of the game and then makes a Bethesda account as well and then joins you.

Why would I be charged another $20 for my friend to just download the DEMO? Is it to charge me for skins? A season pass? Is that really worth another $20? Because I do not think so.

I REALLY do not like this game and I have had a horrible experience to the point where I don't think I will be finishing the game. I have lost faith in not only Bethesda but also not Arkane studios. What a joke.
