My gaming completion ratio has kind of gone down the drain. While gaming on Linux is mostly ok for newer games, retro games or games from other storefronts are not that compatible. I've kind of burned through all my Steam library and now I'm wasting a lot of time trying to find worthwhile games and making them compatible with my setup.

2023 was a weird game for gaming on my part. I finished less games than in recent years and this is mostly because it is getting harder and harder to find worthwhile retro games. In 2023 I also made the full switch to Linux so all of my gaming is done through various compatibility layers.

In 2022 I spent a lot of time with known games that appear on a lot of people's recommendations and top x lists. While I generally know that I'll regret playing over-hyped mainstream choices, this year was really the bottom of the barrel for me. With a mean score of 5.76, it was the worst in the last 15 years... Gotta' stay away from them recommendations.
