So.. I think the main reason many people left day of defeat is because there was simply no competition left, just random pcw's. Now since i returned 3 months ago i noticed alot of people still want to play, but dont see a reason for it. I was hoping to change that and with me, so did Odinn and Chew.. There were ladders and competitions everywhere, having participated in several over the years. We all miss the golden days when we were younger and although those days will likely never fully return, i still feel as if Day of Defeat doesnt have to die. Sure Days of War is here and Counter Strike: Global Offensive, but Day of Defeat deserves to be amongst them. And i know alot of you agree with me. So, i turned to Scrimbase. They host ladders, tournaments, and like all of us, they are day of defeat vets themselves. So i appealed for a Ladder (to start with). A few teams that exist are going to be in it but.. we need more.. and that's where you, my old dod 1.3 family, come in. We need you and you need DoD 1.3 ;) you know you do.. so, help me in bringing the game that consumed our lives back in the back to life and lets get busy again. I hope to see you all out there soon ;)
