Recently I stopped playing steam for a long time, Today I just hopped on a play some games with my friends. Today a guy added me and ask if i wanted to join his esports team for a small tourney and he made me sign in on Esports.com with steam I did as I was told cause I was interested in have some competitive fun again. Later on he said the tourney is for amateur so you cant have items more than 1 $ value< i was a little skeptical at the time but I said what ever, he told me to just send a trade offer to a alt or friend, since I was talking to my friend at the time I sent him the trade offer and he confirmed he saw it and I accepted on mobile. Later on a random account accepted my trade from my friend and took the items. So Im not sure if this scam is new or old, but beware. I don't really mind, since I don't play this game that much anymore but it was still annoying.
