Project 1999 is a free to play Emulated Everquest Server giving Players the opportunity to experience Classic EQ Once again, currently in the Kunark expansion and a max level of 60, with the look and feel of the old interface and several modifications making game mechanics similar to how the game used to be. Project 1999 is the best and most popular classic Everquest experience. With over 1000 users connected at peak times, and tens of thousands of users connecting every month, there's always someone to relive the nostalgia - or experience it for the first time! A group created specifically for Project 1999 staff to enjoy games together. This group may include steam players who are not on the Project 1999 staff, but the majority will be CSR/Dev/Administration. Project 1999 staff will use their staff alias to identify themselves in-game, so it will be simple to tell who is who.
