Saga 4.

As you all know, we've recently reached the end of our main quest and are moving on to the next. I have some information to discuss about our next session. A lot of this information is pretty important, so I do recommend reading all you can.

First thing's first, leveling. D&D is a game that can only be done with the work of not only the DM, but the players too. It is the player's responsibility to level their characters. Currently, all of you (except Nick) have their characters at level 4. You're supposed to be level 7 by now, so I suggest that within these next 4 days you get your character all leveled up. If you have any questions, me and the D&D pdf books you all downloaded will be happy to help.

I suggest everyone has at least 1 backup character prepared at all times. With each Saga we move one step closer to a better campaign, and this Saga we're going all natural. No plot armor, no roll saving, all natural all legit D&D. Meaning, if you do somethin dumb I'm not gonna save you and you're probably gonna die, so you might need a backup character. You don't have to have all the character sheet filled out for it or have all the details, but it's not a bad idea.

With the help of Nick, I've noticed there are a few rules we've left out of the previous Sagas:
Advantage/Disadvanage, and inspiration tokens. Advantage and Disadvantage rolls are when in a given scenario you or an enemy are granted "advantage" or "disadvantage." Basically whenever you have an advantage in a scenario, you get to roll 2d20s instead of 1d20, and you take the one with the higher number. When you have a disadvantage in a scenario, you get to roll 2d20s instead of 1d20, and you take the one with the lower number. Might sound complex at first, but it's really simple ingame, you'll know when you are given advantage/disadvantage.
Inspiration is a token that I as the DM can grant to someone who makes an exceptional play. Essentially, my way for rewarding the players that roleplayed very well or something similar. With this token, you can spend it to gain advantage (what we just talked about) on a roll. You can only have 1 inspiration token at a time, so no need to hoard them.

As most of you know by now, just want to make sure, we now do D&D on saturdays, starting at the regular time. Btw, next session is this saturday (13th).

In the story, we're starting this session 1 month after the last one ended. I suggest everyone considers what their characters are going to be doing in that time for that's going to be very important whenever we start the next session. Whenever we start I'll put together a timeline of events where everyone has been, disclosing whatever information that would not be of access to eachother's characters. Due to the all natural style we're going for this Saga, I'll be sure to have us roleplay through the parts that are neccessary. This is why it's important that I know about what your characters are doing before the session starts, because I need to see what maps I need to have prepared for whenever we do roleplay it.
If needed, you can share your character's actions in this month privately with me rather than replying to this post with the informaton.
