Hey everyone, If you've been wondering how to connect to the servers, the addresses are:

Not all of them are always running, however. As long as you're a member of this group, you should see the servers in your main L4D menu, when you start the game up. Look at the bottom right (to the right of where it shows your friends that are currently playing).



In game press the consol button and type;

connect games.deadmen.us:27022


You should connect to the game if it isn't full


We are working on a way to set up a link on the server to join the group.

By this weekend I hope to have a logo up for the group, and a good MOTD banner for when people connect that explains the mod and the 5 minigames.



Bugs/features I plan to have working by the weekend:



Time the maps, and pose a map vote when the last mini-game ends.



No super long races in pounce-race mode. For NM3 especially: No survivors in or beyond the sewers. Keep it simple, and keep them outside in the lift area.



For "25 damage pounce session", it's all screwed up now that the hunters are force spawned. All the hunters end up getting stuck in the first safe room with the survivors, and they never open the door. I'm changing it so the hunters don't force-spawn in that mode. Also, hunter spaws will be near, but no in, the safe rooms.



Set up spawn locations for survivors for the rest of the NM maps, and get to the BH maps if I have time.



Last weekend we had 2 servers, and they were chock full the whole time. We'll try to run 3 this weekend if we can.

Worked my BUTT off the last two days to get the "pounce race" mode working. I scheduled a group event tonight to try it out, and we ran 2 servers for a couple of hours. Both were PACKED. I think a lot of new people got to see the game. It was awesome.



The Pounce Race mode is great. HUGE hit on NM1. NM3, it was still pretty fun, I think I'm going to have to remove all of the spawn points in the sewers, and at the end of the map. While it's a great map, it's just too long and boring when all you're doing is racing there... When the survivors are closer, all spread out in the Lift area, it makes for a much more fun race. I am going to find a way to restrict gameplay for that map to that main area (nothing past the wherehouse before the sewers).
