Thoughts on Transformers The Last Knight...

Been a while since I've posted any announcement, mainly because most of us don't play FoC that much anymore and at thus no events or announcements have to be made.

However, we did have the new movie coming out last month. Having seen the trailers and trying to avoid watching 100 tv spots I was really excited for this one. It seemed to be better than we had with Age of Extinction.

So when I went to the cinemas to watch TLK in IMAX I was hyped!! First screening, new movie, fresh start of the cinematic universe... Sadly I watched the movie and was really disappointed... Plot holes, poor editing, cringy humor, random appearing and disappearing Autobots, Decepticons who got a introduction but end up being the most useless Cons ever seen and the list goes on and on.

Some of you might think, what did you expect? You know how Bayverse is. And yeah, I do. However, I could enjoy the last 4 movies. Even Age of Extinction which I thought was the worst movie before I saw TLK had its moments. Sure TLK had great moments as well, but it couldn't make up for the bads in my opinion. Making this the worse movie so far in my opinion, and box office numbers proof that lots of people sure this idea.

I completely agree with Crimson, though I'm glad at least some people, like Explorer, enjoyed the movie. For me it was disappointing, but hopefully it'll be better when Bay leaves.

I'm curious if there's any extra footage that we'll get to see when it comes out for Blu-Ray and stuff. Hopefully that will improve the movie by making it at least feel smooth and some more story depth.

I actually enjoyed it. Good old popcorn cinimea in my opinion. Yeah, there was a bit too much focus on the humans (although I liked the appearence of certain characters. And the soundtrack of the movie is quite enjoyable. And honestly I hope with the sixth movie featuring Unicron (hopefully, and maybe a change in directing) they go deeper nto it. Maybe espeacially the Cybretronian history.

I got to say there is one aspect, that I actually miss in the movies, the politics (on cybertron). From time to time I stumble at some IDW Transformers Comics and I gotta say they are great. And politics on cybertron is a very important topic there. Hopefully in future movies, too.

Thing is, I actually enjoyed the last 4 movies. Even AoE was way better than this one while I didn't like AoE that much. It's the first time after 5 movies that I'm actually dissapointed with what we got. I don't even mind all the hate and negative reviews this movie gets, simply because this time it's exactly true.

Its always the same cycle, hype for the movie, people excited think its going to be better than the last one then watch the movie then cry, the cycle continues.

I recall even a joke with that word in the movie. Totally out of place and not funny.
