Suggestions for creating online games IF YOU DON'T INSTALL THE "Fan Patch":::: "Gameranger" works and "Hamachi" does too, create LAN for both. ^_^

quick question, i got the titan quest demo cz ive played titan quest before but never got the full benifit because i had a horrible pc and no online, well now i have a decent labtop and online and when i start up the demo , i crate my name and tunic color then it just shuts down, why is it doing this? is the demo glitched or something?

Loot is randomly placed on the creatures when they're made.

Only specific quest items / monster specific items (Boar Hide) drop from specific monsters.

@Warlord, I just wanted to know if the loot drops randomly or do you get certain drops from a specific NPC. Thanks for the funny yet useless comment though.

Creatures start their lives with items on them, you kill the creature and the items fly off, you pick up the items.

Unless it's a chest (Or a bosses remains) where you open the chest, stuff comes out.

Can someone tell me how the loot system works? Google search did not help any.

I'm at the end of the TQ attempting to kill Typhon, does anyone have any pointers or ideas to kill him. My charater is level 34 Conqueror?

Has anyone got any of the "Labyrithine" (sp) gear? I am trying to gather a complete set.

Okay I'm sorry everyone, I found out that it actually has something to do with my ISP. Everything works just fine, as long as its after 10 P.M. And yeah steam is fussy with just about everything that concerns it! Thanks for trying to help!!!

You need to actually Turn steam off (Using the tray at the bottom right of the desktop assuming you have Vista or XP, don't know where it is in Windows 7) and then find the steam folder and right click on the Steam Exe (Make sure it isn't the icon) and select run in administrator.

Steam is rather fussy in how you do it.

My refresh button isn't working. I don't get any error, and the game is ran in admin. Instead the Game list loading window does nothing. Doesn't crash to an error or anything it just sits there.

I found out the sound file was corrupted, redownloaded it and it works now.

No sound effects? Did you check your computer's sound settings? Go to Control Panel, Sound, select your speakers, and choose stereo or the other settings and see if that fixes it.

I just bought the game, installed it.. Now I have this problem that there are no sound effects.. I tried everything I found on google.. Can anyone help?

Yo ppl, I just bought the game and was wondering why aren't more steam users playing it yet!? It looks really fun, but I wish somebody put up a tutorial for the newbies on how to install it properly.

Assuming you have TQ on steam, you get the latest version without a choice, it force downloads it for you. But 1.1 is the latest one iif I remember correctly

Although I guess you may be asking this because you can't connect to multiplayer, if this is the case, you need to Turn off steam (From the tray in the bottom right, not the X in the top corner of the steam window, then go to the steam folder in program files, right click the steam EXE and click run as administrator or something along those lines,, be careful not to click the steam icon file, which is just below the exe.

As for the graphics issue, it may be one of these things:

*Your graphics card isn't good enough for TQ
*You haven't changed the settings in the video options menu
*You are expecting far too much graphically from TQ
*Some random bug I've never heard of before

What is the latest version of TQIT ? Mine 1.1t and I don't think it's the latest one...

AND, I'm using ATI Radeon HD2600 256mb.. and my graphics still sucks. Can't get this great texture effects...
