Due to some problems, I was only able to add mobile auth to most of my bots on the 9th. That means you lovely users are unfortunately going to need to wait almost another week before I can open the site for business.

Be warned: if you don't have mobile auth and trade confirmations enabled (i.e. the trade will be put into escrow), your sale/purchase will be cancelled! If you still want to use scrapbank.me, you must enable mobile auth and trade confirmations now, and wait 7 days. I'm currently adding 2FA to all the bots plus overhauling the website again (ScrapBank.Me 3.0 anyone?).

ETA is 1-2 days.

For those of you who are interested in this kind of thing, the bots should be able to faster detect whether or not you've accepted a trade offer.

I've added the time_historical_cutoff parameter to the GetTradeOffers API call with the timestamp of the last time the bots checked for trade offers, so the results should be loaded faster, and consequently, the bot will detect changed trade offer states faster as well. It should shave off a few seconds, at least.

Let me know if you guys see a difference!

If you are logged in, you will be able to use the new search feature which can be found in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

I'll be adding filters for quality and other things in the future.
