Since it seems we are not that active as i would have hoped. Practises seem most unlikely. I just hope we can enter the competition and get few good matches so well get the medals.

I have to share my hat story. So a couple of months ago I crafted my first hat - Bonk Helm. Since the latest changes to crafting I need 6 scrap to craft a 2nd hat. However this morning I just got my first random drop hat. Well, okay I also have Camera Beard but I got that when it was a misc item and dropped like a weapon. So anyway after about 200 hours of play since hats came out, what do I get? Bonk Helm. GAAAAAAAAAAAAHH! Seriously out of 42 potential hats, I get the ONE hat I already have. Anyone want to place bets on my 2nd craft being another Camera Beard?

And I made a timezone mistake and showed up late :(

Sorry I missed the practice, I met a girl and we had a date yesterday, that last pretty much all day. Between TF2 and girls, I chose girls. Next for sure...I think o-o

Ive added a practice date to the calendar. My intention for this one is for as many of us as possible to get together, get to know each other a bit, go on some random server and play together for a bit, have some fun etc. It will also give me the opportunity to get some info from everyone that will be useful when organising things going forward. After this first practice, I'll try to organise a proper practice match against one of the other community teams maybe the following week. Hope that sounds good to everyone :)

Ok so I've played TF2 on my laptop and it runs, a bit choppy, but runs. I suggest I take a defensive approach to play if I still have the desktop come time.

Great news everyone. according to the thread we have a full group now. I've sent friendslist invitations to them so we can get them here. Let's just hope that they would respond soon

There may be a complication. my dog ripped up my laptop keyboard so I am currently installing TF2 on my desktop. If I can't run it well here, you'll need to find a replacement as the repairs are going to take 5 or so weeks.

Before practices are started, can one of you explain how to set my laptop clock to the timezone we are using? So I know when to be on easier >.<

Maybe it would be a good idea to post a link here to the forum thread where all of this takes place so we can be easier updated on whats going on with the other teams and such.

To me its ok if you invite some of your friends if those on the thread don't react. And i think i could take the vice captains role and try to help with this tournament

The thread has a bunch of "maybes" listed but I know someone from my old clan Venom I could ask if that's ok. He's reliable and experienced in TF2 (non-competitive). As for captain, there is alot to do so I think it may be best to have 2 people to share the load, maybe joint captains, or a clear number 1 captain and a vice-captain. If we do that I could be one of them, but I don't think I'd have time to do everything on my own.

We could somewhere around now start looking for replacements for the 4 who haven't given steam nicks in the thread. I sent them PM yesterday and none of them have answered anything.

Who has competition experience and wants to become captain? :-)
