If you don't have it, it basically gives you a Teamspeak-style VOIP server along with text-based chat (similar to IRC) and shoutbox functionality. So one app basically would handle how most of us already communicate.

It also has a in-game overlay feature along with automatically showing your friends what game you're playing, similar to how Steam does it.

It runs on Windows & Mac, Android & iOS, and within any modern browser (requiring no download at all!). Linux support coming soon for the handful of people who use it.

Keep in mind that your username doesn't have to be unique either, since it also assigns you a # that goes after your name for people to find you with. So if you have a super-common name you like to use but you have been stuck adding #'s and shit after it on other services... fear not, you can use it here without ever being told that your username is taken.

Someone went through the time & effort of capturing the akbars from middle eastern combat footage, and using them to replace the Insurgents' "Grenade out" audio in Insurgency.

Long story short, install this mod and instead of hearing a bad arabic accent, you will hear varying versions of الله أكبر when you throw explosives. This includes the throwing of molotovs and planting of C4!

Greetings brothers. We're aware that there's been some connectivity issues for our services lately. It appears our DNS host/registrar, PRQ, has been having some downtime. Usually their downtime is the result of police and government thuggery[www.forbes.com], but due to the lack of news reports popping up this time around... we're assuming they are currently under some sort of DDoS attack.

Since the Molotov Spring update, alot of us have noticed that our beloved Sustained Combat servers seem to be playing the Push gamemode almost exclusively, with Occupy peppered in from time to time.

So to address that, for a month we will be testing a new 24/7 Skirmish Server of our own! If it remains populated, I'll keep it up for as long as people use it.

Anyways, it's up right now! To find it in your server browser, just type akbar into the Tags field and it should pop right up. Right-click and select Add to Favorites.
