Xbox controller for Lies of P
I have been trying for about 2 hours to use a xbox one controller on steam with no luck. I cannot find the "extended extended support driver" download anywhere (if thats even for macs), my big screen settings menu says there is no controllers detected, and the controller refuses to connect to my macbook though bluetooth. I am losing my mind. The controller works fine wired on testing websites so I know its not a controller issue. I have a macbook pro M2 running 15.0.1. This is actually ridiculous that this is so complicated just to get a controller to work. let me know any tips please!!

You don't need drivers to connect an Xbox controller over Bluetooth. Support is already built-in.
It might be helpful to know what you've tried to get the controller to enter pairing mode.

Steam is abandoned MacOS support itself and uses the things what was written in 2015. Right now they are failing one by one.

You need to disable Steam Contoller Input in this game, to allow it to use it without Steam "helpers".
Support for Xbox One controllers is built into Mac OS, no driver required. Can you get the controller to appear in the Bluetooth screen under System Settings when you press the pair button on the controller?
Idk this is for the sign
