Steam stops responding - external drive
Hey, I am having an issue that just started recently. When steam attempts to update to my external drive, steam stops responding. It also causes Finder to stop responding.
It seems from Activity Monitor that the software that MacOS uses to read and write from the disc ends up using 99-100% of the CPU capacity.

The same issue happens on both of our macbookPros, different versions and all.

Currently running on MacbookPro with Apple M2 Max, 32gb ram, on Sequoia 15.1.

I'm using Samsung Portable SSD T7 - Never had an issue with the drive up until now. I can access the files in it fine in other programs (Finder, Avid, Logic), but once I try with it destroys the macs compatibility with the drive until I do a restart.

It seems like steam is struggling with reading or allocating resources on the drive, and it is interesting that it then contaminates MacOSs Finder process as well.

Is anyone facing a similar problem?
