I install the game, and won't start...

Have a new PC now, and wanted to try every game on my Steam, but for some reason, this particular game, doesn't work.. ( It does on the old pc. which is worts. :c )

Weird things i guess, in the other pc, the Skyrim Legendary edition doesn't work, but i did download it, from an external web, and it does work. So, you telling me i need download this game, again, from an another web? ._.

I need help. Thanks.

Just in case, someone is going to ask, this PC, has, a 3070, 16gb ram, and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800 H

The older PC, has a 1050, 16 gb ram, and i5 2400...

The thing now, is why is not starting.. ( I click on Start, from Steam, and doens't appear anything... ) T_T

Just in case, i did download it from an external website, and it worked... idk why, but it does. 💀 ( I did the verify integral files, and did nothing as well, i don't know what to do, except playing in pirate ) :X

I...wow, that's very depressing but I've heard about that being a thing for some games where the official version is broken. and yeah, this game is currently broken for many players. I wonder if there's someone who figured out a crazy thing to make it work.

I had the same problem, I got it to work again by reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. It could be cause of the problem, maybe?

Mhh.. should i try, but which one? The 64 bit, the 32, or the 86? ( or every single one? :X ) And which year? There's a lot.😔💀

I'm installing them, it's seems that i don't even had them. xD Maybe that's the problem. 🙃 I'm installing the game to check :D

So, yeah, the game works now. xD It seems i didn't had the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.. at least not the last version, you can download it from here! https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022 :D Thanks for the help

I mean, maybe it's not the problem, but it was mine, so if it happening to you, you don't lose anything trying it out. :D

That's great to hear! I also just installed both the x64 and x86 versions. Maybe one of the windows updates messed something up with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable because I didn't do anything major to my computer, it just stopped working lol.

Yeah, idk because in this pc never worked so maybe It was that i dont have It install It, anyway i though Steam download It from itself... But It didnt so... 🤣

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I tried to re-install every one and couldn't find the one you had posted here as it was the only one missing from all in one packages and etc. Now the game is FINALLY running
