No sound
Just installed the game, when i launch it, i get no sound, drivers are all up to date as of yesterday, tried using three different sources for sound (tv, seperate set of speakers, and headphones) still got nothing. Not sure what to do now. Anyone else had issues with this? Anyone have solutions? Any help would be wonderful, Thanks

Are other game's sounds working?

Yup, all other games sound work fine.

The game does let you pick your audio adapter. Default device should work but go through whatever is there and try them all. You'll probably need to "apply changes" before it will start using that sound device.

If that doesn't work, try checking the Event Log (just search on it, it's part of Windows) to see if it has anything to say about drivers crashing.

I have looked at the ingame sound options. For me its either default audio or no audio. The event log got nothing to say about drivers, saddly

contacted support... so far they have me litterally doing everything I have already done... again... Its a shame, I would like to actually play this game some day... with sound.

So after dealing with support... They have told me that i probably have corrupted software and to do a fresh install of my operating system. I am only having issues with 1 game... This one. Not my whole computer. No way im formatting my computer for one game.

I'd love to know if you've ever got around that stupid audio issue. i found a way around it but that's not the way a game should work

I constantly change between sound sources in Windows sound settings between my two computer screens and separate speakers and for some reason with Valkyria Chronicles 4 Complete Edition I have to remember to change the audio adapter accordingly through the game's options (+ apply changes). I don't think I have to do this with other games, they allways regognize automatically which audio output I am currently using.

Funny, I have this issue (I can hear the music and SFX, but no voices or dialogues) right now because for the first time I'm attempting to play using my speakers (2.1) instead of my headset (which emulates 7.1 channels). This game probably sends the voices through a specific sound channel only.

Going into windows audio settings and turning on mono audio (which forces all channels into a single one) restores the voices but of course, it is no longer stereo.

Anyone experiencing this issue needs to install VCRedit 2005 x86 and x64.

The game may have been installed without the redistributables for some unknow reason.
