I feel bad for not recommending this game. It's a very fun concept of a game and I feel like with more time, a bigger budget and perhaps more inspiration, this game would be phenomenal. Mostly what it lacks in, especially for a post 2020 release, is presentation.

Yes, you're a werewolf slashing through several squads of enemies and it makes you feel generally very unstoppable, but there's no satisfaction in it. Enemies are generally very weak and don't really impose much of a threat, executions aren't really flashy and some of the animations just generally lack.. impact, and while you can see blood splatter against the walls and floor, enemies themselves have very little blood come out of them, making it feel off whenever you slash an enemy, they collapse, and a massive stain of blood covers the walls around them, despite virtually nothing coming out of their body.

I wish they did more with this in terms of making you feel like a werewolf above all else, but as it stands, what you get is a very B-list hack and slash with a visual gimmick and not much else to show for it.

This game is pure trash. Not worth it even on sale

This game is both depressingly middling, and poorly written, but also just sort of fails to capture the vibe that actual Werewolf has, like there's some weird plot things that feel out of step with the extant lore. Most egregiously though, the game just isn't good. There's never any reason to really do much but spam and tank damage, and the sneaking-around bits are made literally impossible in the late game by enemies that you have to transform to take out, and it feels like it gets more railroady after that point.
